Haven't you guys by now seen the episodes where they utilize the McKay/Carter Intergalactic Bridge? They have to write a special macro that prevents the Pegasus gate from taking precedent when they want to dial the Milky Way gate system instead.
@JaysonCasy Don't mean to be a nerd or anything, but I don't think those gates are that close together. I mean they use only 38 across the gap between two galaxies, it's like 2 million lightyears wide. If we could travel at the speed of light it'd still take us 2 million years to get there.
@ActuallyLiam um...I was talking about the two gates at the Midway station. Why would I think they would need that code for every gate in the bridge? The ones at the Midway station are something like 30 feet apart, though.
@JaysonCasy Yeah, thats one of those Scientific feets, I choose to ignore, McKay and Carter figured it out then Teal'c and Ronan destroyed it fighting wraith. All in all. Not a major loss.
@ActuallyLiam I preferred it to the Daedalus, actually. The show is called Stargate. Not Starship. That being said, SGU Stargate Universe was mine favorite and they hardly used the gate.
@JaysonCasy Oh I love Stargate Universe. It too is my favorite show. It's probably my favorite show of all time. Difiantly my favorite Stargate. SG-1 Early Seasons and SGU are the best. I have to say I liked Atlantis more before they regained connection with Earth I'd have preferred it to remained cut-off until much later on. I like the role of USS Hammond in SGU as sort of a backup role than a story launcher.
