I just did 10 and 25 man hardmode for OS (i got drake for 10 man, and my sister for 25, how cool is that ?!) and it took us a couple of mins to do this fight. Granted, it took an hour to do it as we kept wiping, but once we got it, we did it in 2 mins. A simple tactic. For 10 man hardmode, you need really really good dps, 1 tank, and 1 healer. BL at the start, and nuke the boss. He should be dead around the time the first drake comes into the fight. But we did this by the skin of our teeth

may i make a few remarks for the idiots i've seen posting. This was done when LK wasn't even killed/around. There gear wouldn't be to the standard today's gear is and there, they cant leave all the drakes alive (watchmexplode). Also it was one of the hardest fights of the time, i mean hardest fight of its time so yes, with naxx25 gear it would of been harder than lichking imo.

@watchmexplode what he means is that, when engaging sarth, all of the 3 mini bosses have not been killed. Killing them makes this fight much more easier. Although with todays gear its faceroll even if you leave drakes up.

I don't recall this achievement changing but the description says "With all three Twilight Drakes still alive, engage and defeat Sartharion the Onyx Guardian in 25-player mode." even around the time you made this video I don't understand why you went through the extra trouble of actually killing the drakes, before you made this video I had already done 3 drake with my guild we just popped heroism and killed him afterwards drakes despawned.

The problem I've always had with this, even with attempting 1 or 2 drakes, is that in 10 man you only have two tanks. One is tanking Sarth, obviously, and the other tank has to pick up the drakes... but what about the Fire Elementals that spawn? As OT, if I grab the elementals then I'm not watching for the drakes, and if I get the drake then the elementals are running amok on the raid.

Technical way to do things, Our guild has only 2 tanks and 3 heals the rest high Dps. Its a staright zerg. I must be clear if you want to zerg this fight NO ONE can take fire wall dmg and fight must beover before 3rd drake lands. BL up front and go nutz

your dps should be at least 5k each and the tank needs to be 2.2k ish thats bare minimum. taking 2 healers is a waste

Well thanks for the advice, did it last night resto shaman, pally tank, boomkin, 2 dks, hunter, 2 rogues, 2 mages. Was really hard. I don't think we were all 5k dps. Got it about 4th attempt or so. I rolled a 98 for the mount, then the other dk rolled a 100. fml

We do 10 man zerg with 1 healer. If you are planning to zerg 10: 1 heals, 2 tanks, 7 DPS. DPS burns Sarth and they need to do it FAST. Do a test, if he isn't even close to being dead when Shadron lands then your DPS isn't good.
