@Sgagnot Let's agree to keep our different perceptions. No harm done. Shake hands and let's say, "Hi!" if we meet on another thread. Top of the day to you!
Hello @Sgagnot. God’s indeed all powerful, however, where He has delegated power, He does not interfere. He will not, for instance change a person's life without their consent. ("Ask & you shall receive...") Re: who turned Annie's life around, sorry if it sounded like a contradiction. She made the decision and took the 1st step (she turned her life around) & God did the rest (God turned her life around).
contd @Sgagnot... Christians compare God to a parent because He invites us to a Father-child relationship & plays the role of Father to those who respond. Re: parents doing anything for their children, sometimes we step back and let the child bear the consequences of their actions because talking to them doesn't work and if they are adults we cannot make them do anything. Regarding why God let Japan's natural disater happen, I cannot provide a response to that as I do not know.
"Let the one who has an ear hear: He (the 'Amen'...faithful and true witness...beginning of the creation by the Universal Sovereign) wishes you to 'NOT BE' lukewarm! If you continue to say 'I need nothing', you will remain miserable, pitiable, poor, blind and naked. Furthermore, your shame (of, which you are unconscious) will be made known unless you're intensely enthusiastic about repenting. His affection for you is the reason for reproof/discipline. Hear his voice, and open the door!"
@Sgagnot A life of sin is definitely not God's will. But He's there to receive us when we turn away from it. And He will give us a fresh start. Her story tells what a sad life she had, by her own making. And when she called out to God He turned it around. Any parent will understand that you may not be pleased with a child's wayward lifestyle, but you still love the child. And when they call for help you are back by their side! Thank God He does not think like man does. He forgives and renews!
@Sgagnot Assumptions, not really. If it's the God of the Bible we are both writing about, you can get to know His mind and His ways simply by reading His Bible. It's like answering questions about a family member. You can answer because you've known them intimately for so long.
Sorry for answers in bits. YouTube wouldn't allow it all in one piece!
@SheLovesSmoothJazz "If it is God of the Bible ..." Well then it is pretty simple. When you read the Bible you realize that the God of the Bible is indeed not true. Trying to defend his existence is futile and ridicules. Besides this, I have read the Bible several times and also a lot of other literature on the subject. I did not see and have not seen any evidence for either God, Jesus or the Holy ghost.
What you claim to have know is nothing more than the wish to be loved.
Hi again, @Sgagnot I respect all views, even when different from mine. I totally agree with you that it is futile trying to defend God's existence, hence I seldom ever try. God is someone you can only apprehend by faith. Without faith you can never see Him, even if He stood right in front of you. Also, God is spirit and cannot be "detected" using physical or mental instruments.
@Sgagnot Years ago, I taught Science & remember how amusing it was seeing students pick the wrong instruments for measuring different things. If for instance, you tried to measure acidity with a stopwatch, from the reaction on your stopwatch you would claim that acidity did not exist! Get the point?! Regarding wishing to be loved, I've been surrounded by love all my life. If anything, I have an abundance to give away! Sorry if we're boring everyone else here! Just an intelligent discussion!
@SheLovesSmoothJazz I get your point, even though I find it a tad simplistic. Let me reverse it for you:
Before Pythagoras everyone thought the Earth was flat. If we lived in those times your argument would have been, that since I could not explain it, the Earth would have to be flat.
I don't understand why you find it necessary to delude yourself in this way. I only hope you come to your senses. There is no reason for gods to exist none.

Praise the lord channel?
So the all mighty lord wanted her to be a hooker? He works in mystirious ways and his will is law.
Fine life she got according to Gods will and divine plan.

@SheLovesSmoothJazz Since God is all power full, he has the will to change anything. So everything is as he wills it, otherwise he would change it.
You are contradicting your self. Did she or God turn her life around?
Why is it that Christians all ways have to compare God to a parent? Parents would do anything for their children - why wont God?
You are making a lot of assumptions on Gods behalf, it seems. So why did God allow the earth quake in Japan?

This stuff makes me so angry.
Its a miracle by itselfe that such girls are still able to find Jesus after being so severly damaged.
I pray the Lord will save such girls.
I pray He will pour out His grace upon them and set them free them from their bondage,Both their litteral bondage as the spiritual bondage.
And I pray that He will heal their broken spirits.
In the name of Jesus the Christ;
BE SAVED!!BE HEALED!!BE FREED!!!

In Europe its even worse.
They tell these Eastern-European girls that they can have a normal job in Western-Europe.
But when they arrive in Western Europe, they are immediatly forced to prostitute.
And if they are lucky, they end up at the 'Walletjes' behind the windows with an 'official' pimp, actually making some litle money.
But if they are unlucky, they are sold as sex-slave to some sick old pervert;obviously not making money but being held as sex-slave.
