If only Square didn't find it hilarious to see us rage when Badasses die and total Dicks (cough, Xehanort, cough) get revived. Anyone but Xehanort would have been better revived. Even if it was Axel and he was fully evil, That would have been brining back the biggest Dick in RPG history (meanwhile, at Square) Intern on drugs: How about we kill off Sora next and replace him with Aerith as the main character hurpaderpblurp!

And in a way they are brining axel back, Its kinda what they said in days. You shouldnt just just rage about who their brining back because you dont like them. This, combined with mastery of detail and enviroment of the story, comes together in one master plot to create as enthralling of a series as Kingdom Hearts. Nomura truely is a genius of the mind.
I prefer this one much more to "The Other Promise". Its simpler - sadder, more hopeful in some parts. You don't need to complicate pieces of music to make people like them.
Kingdom Hearts is such a cruel world...people from the darkness are so unlucky...some of them are good people..like Roxas and Axel..all they ever wanted was to be normal human beings with their own hearts and live with their friends...if I can say this..they did portray great friendship in such an impossible state...three of them precisely..Xion Roxas and Axel...such big sacrifice.. Maybe he did. I was kind of thinking: when a heartless and nobody are created, the heartless holds the captive heart and the nobody holds the memories/soul. We know that Sora's heartless had his memories and that Roxas lacked them. Maybe "the other side" of Sora's heart was in Roxas and not his heartless?

Here's something that's always confused me about the KH series...
In CoM, it implies (or maybe even says out-right, I don't quite remember) that the memories are located in the heart. Erasing those memories will destroy THE HEART. Which made me wonder, how could Nobodies have their original self's memories if the memories are located in the heart...? =/
SPOILER because in kh when you die a heartless becomes of your heart but the shell (your body turns into a nobody).....most nobodies in life had their bodies destroyed...but not the specific ones in kh....roxas looks like ven because sora came back to life and couldn't take his body...ven was in sora's hearts so he took ven's appearance...SPOILER
What does that have to do with their memories? =/ I'm well aware about Roxas and his look alike, but why do all the other Nobodies have their memories? It never made sense to me.
