I have watched BBUK, and I don't like it as much as BBUS, in my honest opinion. I'm not going to get in a shouting match over it, it's just a television show. I just don't like BBUK because it's basically the same as our first BB, which means America (Or in your case, UK) gets to decide who gets evicted. In ours, we have no control over who gets evicted and there is a lot more stradegy involved. That's just my opinion, take it or leave it.
This particular opening music was only used twice in episodes 2 & 3 (there was no opening in episode 1). Beginning with episode 4 (the first after Ashlea's eviction), the music was changed slightly (was given a bit more pep and the key is a bit higher).
to Jeffcoaster, the music is ok and while it is a season that I liked, I wouldn't call it my favorite only because of the way it ended and moves by certain players that brought it to its ruin.

Our evictions are kind of like a Judgement Day. If you're evicted and you've been a bad person in the house, you'll get your just desserts from the hungry crowd :P
We are currently running our 5th Celebrity Big Brother, which has caused an international race row! It's been covered on all the major news networks in the UK and in India, and the issues brought up by the programme have been discussed in Parliament! Now that's drama for you! :)
The first BBUS was like the UK version where the public decides but there was a flaw in the voting and it was unfair to the houseguests and spectators. If you watched BB1 you will know what I am talking about between the Britney and George thing. Drama.
They had to change it to houseguests voting and everything because of BB1. It's still Big Brother it just doesn't use the same 'public vote' format.
I personally like both BBUK and BBUS I've never seen BBAUS though.
All American 'Reality' shows (of you can call it that) are a farce, nothing but a scripted Drama! Take a look at 'The Simple Life' with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, even they admitted everything on their show is fake! I'm not Anti-American or anything but if you want to watch a real REALITY show stay away from the American shows!
The Simple Life is obviously scripted. In real life, Paris Hilton doesn't show up at strangers' homes and ask to work for them for a day. Big Brother is real. I have the live feeds. We just have good editors for our show condensing all the most entertaining stuff from the past 2/3 days into one hour. On BB:UK, they barely edit the show and it's on every single day so it's boring.
Haha, barely edit the show??? They've got 24 hrs to condense into one! Our editors have come under fire from some people for manufacturing the winner and evictees through the editing.

I've seen all 3 BB's UK, Aussie, and US and I have to say that the US DOES have more drama, UK and Aussie is all about the public. In the US you have to strategize and work your way to the top. Funny how you said the US was easy...all you have to do in AUssie/UK is sit there and nominate...and thats it, in the US you have to win competitions, strategize, manipulate, and scheme your way to the top...we did the public way in 2000, and it the public voting was horrible.
BBUK is no stradagy and because of that it can get boring. In BBUK and AU it's all about whose popular and who has the best personality. In BBUS it's all stradagy and deceit. I do like BBUS beter because of the intelect of it.

When they don't have a task, they drive themselves crazy by bitching about each other and fighting. This year is a very very bitchy house.
