I loved your point on how every single Ladder match has a Sunset Flip off a ladder which is true :) BUT, you can bet all your money without thinking that in any Abyss match, that is no DQ, he will get a chair to the crotch when he tries to splash onto it. Your reviews are really awesome so I'm gonna look out for this DVD.

Sure when it was first aired that show was greatness. But what was the point of it? To say that Davey Richards is the MAN; the Danielson promo putting Davey over as the new best in the world to Davey jumping Bryan to Davey winning clean over Shingo. But when Davey lose cleans in the first round of the tourney; what does make Open the Untouchable Gate become? Just another collection of great matches that serve no purpose.

I agree about the twinkies chant, it worked for Aries/Petey because if they didn't chant it the crowd would have been dead but the people chanting it during Aries/Black on Saturday was absurd.

Excellent review, haven't watched the whole DVD yet. I just watched the first three matches and to me I remembered the crowd being into the opener a lot more live than they were on the DVD. The show really took off after the Claudio/Omega match. SHow of the yar, no doubt.

Hold on, first of all i did nothing to start the chant at Final Battle. Secondly, it's a random chant, but it has its funny value. I don't find it funny someone threw a Twinkie in the ring, because that's just taking the joke on levels that make it less funny. But you're starting to sound like a downer like most of the people at Final Battle who were for the most part the spoiled fans who would do things such as boo Tyler Black for no reason.

Well, that crowd much like yourself hated the Twinkie chant as well. Not to mention not to far from me someone RANDOMLY started a 2 Girls 1 Cup chant. All I'm saying is the Twinkie chant is a harmless funny chant that pretty much got shat on because the fans imo have no sense of humor. Jarrod stated it best that crowd was shite, and i agree. The majority insulted Tyler Black for no reason at all.
