  • (Deuteronomy 12:15, 16) And God’s law on blood was reiterated when first-century Christians were instructed: “Keep abstaining . . . from blood.” (Acts 15:28, 29) Out of respect for the sanctity of life, godly people do not accept blood transfusions, even if others insist that such a procedure would be lifesaving. Many medical alternatives acceptable to Jehovah’s Witnesses have proved to be very effective and do not expose one to the hazards of blood transfusions.

  • Christians know that only Jesus’ shed blood is truly lifesaving. Faith in it brings forgiveness and the prospect of eternal life.—Ephesians 1:7.

  • @steeeeever You are so right Steeve.

  • could have she just signed a DNR?

  • If you are raised thinking that having blood from other people is dirty/a sin, I can see how she wouldn't like that.

  • she could just kill herself is she feels her rights have been violated.

  • Wow that's quite a story....Im all about standing up for what is right..which is why Im helping Ex jehovahs witnesses to stand up and speak out about all the abuse they have suffered within the organization. So many people have left with a form of illness. Depression, personality disorders, shock..the list goes on. For every one good story a jw can find I can show you another 5 that is horrific!! The reputation of the jw organization is going down hill rapidly. :( x

  • OMG! you saved my life! I'll sue you!!!!

  • Yeah...a win for the little girl with 400,000 of our tax dollars. I have a better solution, the government should stop thinking that they own us and should respect individual religious views of people instead of shoving its own brand of "beast" religion on the masses. The governments political correctness religion only serves to make lawyers and judges employed and wealthy. Funny that many politicians work in law firms when not in politics. Protection of their main industry...lawsuits galore.

  • She shouldn't get anything, she's wasting the courts time. She's still alive because of the transfusion, she should be grateful she's still alive and just forget about the lawsuits. The doctor's should of just let her die, it'd save money for the hospital, and it wouldn't waste valuable time in the supreme court.

  • they should pump all the blood from her and let he die like she wanted to then amirite?

  • @TheChocolateDiamonds lol :P xxx

  • @iPhoneAndrew You have no way ot knowing whether she would have died without a blood transfusion. Many witnesses who were told they would die without blood did not die..and infact, it is becoming more and more evident that people who do not get blood transfusions recover faster and without nearly as many complications, longterm and shortterm, than those who recieve blood.

  • @brofun

JEHOVAS WITNESSES ARE MORDERN CANAANITES: EVEN READY TO SACRIFICE THE LIFE OF THEIR CHILDRENI IN THE NAME OF THEIR RELIGION.
