I think saying the Mc like muck makes more sense coz you say like irish surnames like McReedy you pronounce it like 'muck' - reedy. But I do say 'mac' donalds, i dont know where the 'mick' comes from.
He looks older than twenty. It amazes me how the youth of today look so much older then they really are. I've seen 15 year old girls that look like they are in their thirties. It's all the junk food and their slavery to the internet that they don't get out and excersize anymore or eat right.
What's this about "Clark Kent hair?" You weren't dissing Tom Welling, were you? Because I am a huge fan, and watching Smallville is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. :)
I'm American and I say Mac Donalds also. It does not matter really how you say it. It is like the word genuine. Some people say "gin u in" and others for some reason say "gin u wine"
LOL....aside from vlog and comedy type channels on YouTube, makeup/beauty channels are a guilty pleasure that I have become obsessed with, and I am always looking for new channels to sub to.
Just hearing about summer break sounds painful. You think you have it bad, at least the fields in your hometown aren't baking in 100degree weather. At least you get to enjoy nature instead of hiding from it's fury. I don't want to leave school :(
Calling any British person (because I'm just curious), Are there Wal-marts in Britain? And while I'm at it, are those guards in the red and black just for show? I mean can they arrest you for bothering them?
No Wal-marts no, but I believe they own a supermarket chain here called Asda ... but Asda has been around here for decades. I just have a feeling that Wal-mart bought them. Tesco is our equivalent I think.
They have the power to arrest yes, they are basically there to protect the Queen but they have become symbols of tourism in London now. They do have a function but yeah ... I guess they are pretty much for show these days!
Speaking of sleeping habits: Mine are disastrous. I literally went to bed today when the sun was up. Therefore, it's virtually impossible for me to go to bed within any reasonable time range. If you find out how to shift back to a "healthier" rhythm, please tell us :O
I honestly don't know if I would normally say McDonalds or MacDonalds... but I don't think it matters either way anyway. More importantly, I LOVE the belt! :-)
