This replica certainly has its purposes, too. It would be excellent for filmmaking, where using real guns is totally forbidden.

i once held a real m1 garand from memorial day at our church from these soldiers holding the guns. one of them showed me his ENTIRE rifle collection and let me hold a real m1 garand and it was heavy and was really hard to pull back the cocking handle but i was able to do it. he also showed me a clip. he collects rifles.

@PvtVVitt CMP rarely got a m1 garand. you need a License aswell, and thats not that cheap either (dependant on what country you live in) and the new springfield m1 garands that's made are discontinued, and its rare to find one at a shop. and the CMP currently only got m1 carbines at the auctions for 1008-1700 dollars. collectors and re-enactors use these, and may i remind you that not every garand you find is intact, so spare parts must be bought. they aint expensive, but they aint cheap either

Well, Nice rifle. The real one and that model version are just really nice, one thing is the sound. It almost sounds like the airsoft version...

This is a PFC cap and I am new to this but own a few and they are loud... the .45 I have is louder then that, but perhaps the sound wasnt recorded right or is it really that quiet?

All in all, i am def. not putting the gun down.
