i met them live at Maple leaf Gardens in Toronto Canada on Oct 7 1979!!! i was 14 years old! i still have my original program and ticket stub! after the show my brother and i snuck behind the stage, and ran into the 2 girls! i had them autograph my program (they did 2 times each) i even got to kiss Anni-frid on the cheek!! a memory i will never forget. to me truly the greatest band ever!!!

I was a punk when this music first came out and couldn't really admit to liking some of it and by and large I find ABBA a bit cheesy but every band or artiste has a song or two of genuine merit.(even Elvis had 4 good songs, not including dance remixes)This one and SOS are outstanding. The reason I think more of them like ABBA compared to modern pop artistc is that ABBA's music feels organic, from the vocals to the instruments whereas modern pop relies heavily on repeated electronic beats or the like, basically there is little music in it and the vocals are uninspiring.Many metalheads like a strong emphasis on instruments.

If you listen to metal properly you'll see that metal songs have great structures, and a soul that makes them more than just sounds made by instruments. Great compositions are timeless.
