  • That's cool, yo this is gone sound crazy but i lived in OH - had the same car-04 g35 coupe black!- but had to let my brother drive it 4 now its a manual and the only kit i can find for manual trans its from Europe and around $8k (i would love to get my car back) But the crazy thing is that i got to a motorcycle (r1) accident 1.5 years ago and also had some motorcycle & truck/trailer run me off the road where i fell into a ditch/creek and the motorcycle bounced of tree and landed on top of me!

  • Isn't it just faster to take a folding frame chair and lift it over your head into the back seat? Although the rigid frame chairs are much lighter it just seems like such a hassle to have to take the wheels off. I know these rigid frames are the popular way to do transfers now but it just seems like the process is more time consuming than a folding frame.

  • @frankaguilo A folding chair with wheels and backrest would be very bulky. I doubt it could ever fit in the back seat even if I wanted it to. Folding chairs are also heavier because they have more parts and are less durable. At this point, this transfer is cake with this current chair.

  • That's a car! I bought mine couple of months ago! And yes, it has a lot of options when speaking about getting comfortable.

  • Have you ever looked into wheelchair sports?

  • What kind of hand control do you have there?

  • @Ngtin321 It's a Menox Contol that you push for brake and pull for gas. Check my other videos...I have a few showing it works.

  • That's so smart, man! you're doing it soo good. I am a post GBS para and I know what an adapted car means. I own a Volvo and I will ask those guys for a memory chair as well. Enjoy you life!

  • thats sweet! I'm a t4 para, and i thought my car was really good for me! (dodge magnum) but that car has a lot of really small things that seem like they would help so much. mainly the seat position memory and how easy it is for you to move the passenger seat and the back of the passenger seat. cool!

  • you need to get a porsh 911 good video i have CP but i enjoy your videos(:

  • Where does your gal sit in the car? Just curious?

  • @malfirst When I have a passenger, I put the wheels and chair in the back seat.

  • @blackpearlv6 Does the folded frame fit in the trunk if need be? Thank you!

  • @Klfalter No, the trunk on this car is extremely small. If I am riding with someone who is used to taking apart the chair, they will put the wheels and seat cushion in the trunk and the chair frame in the back seat.

  • @blackpearlv6 thanks for the info. I'm dying for the g37 and waiting for my new rigid (switching from folding) chair to come in! :-)

  • No offense.......don't you hate it when comments start out like that:) But yeah...no offense but the young lady holding the camera has the prettiest legs I've ever seen in my life. I don't kknow if she's your girl, but can you rub on them for me please :)

  • @Studio102 Yep, she's my girlfriend and she does have nice legs...and an even better butt!!

  • Great video man! You're amazing!

  • I have a quick question. Hope I don't offend anyone, but if your paralyzed from the armpits down can still tell if your hungry? Because your organs and stuff are paralyzed. Also really cool video. I always wondered how paraplegics got in and out of there car by themselves and also how they got the wheel chair. That is so neat! And you're really good at it too. :D

  • @potatosandpickels Haha, no offense taken. All my internal organs still work and I can still tell if I'm hungry just like you...I just can't feel my skin below my arm pits and I don't have use of my stomach, back and leg muscles.

  • bet it cost a pretty penny to getto get ur car modified hell just a good quality spinner knob is almost a bill great vid brother could help a lot of people

  • @asus3571 E-bay (:

  • wow man i just got my g35 coupe and im a c5/c6 and im going to ware out the play button on this video. its a beauty of a car but a C word to take my chair apart and get it inside. any tips...anyone

  • @MrNillows Awesome! Don't worry, it will be hard at first but you will get the hang of it. And its WAY BETTER THAN A MINIVAN! Hopefully you have a lightweight chair. As a C5/C6, I'm not sure how much grip you have. If you have a solid backrest, you may want to take that off too to lighten the load. How's you bicep control?

  • @blackpearlv6 ha thanks for the reply but as it stands i have zero grip/ triceps but after watching this it helped huge ill post a vid when i get faster. my biceps work great. i have no problem curling my chair its just the lack of trunk where i have issues. i hope to be able to get in the car in 4-5 mins im about 10 mins now.

ps the G is a beast i love it already

  • @FedupJMan

I drive with a hand control that's connected to the gas an brake. I have another video showing how I drive if you wanna check it out.

  • this is awesome man. I'm on OR. You're an inspiration.

  • Good job man. I drive a 04 mustang gt...its not a bad car for paras either. im t4 btw. i was also hurt in a street bike crash, u were too rite?

  • @millserd

Yes, head first into a tree did it for me. Thankfully, I had a good helmet that did it's job.

  • I just uploaded the shaking video...

  • Are you on Facebook? It won't let me post pics of my TTS here....I have a video but I was shaking so bad...and it's before the H&R springs went in....but I can post....

  • Hey Brian, Blue Dream here. All I can say is you da man! Great job and you are such an inspiration. Keep on keeping on :)

  • Your a T1? I'm a C7 but incomplete...I do walk but I'm weak....I still wash and wax my car myself....and pull the wheels and tires to clean in the wheel wells....but that's about it that I can do. Is your car a dual clutch tranny? I drive a Audi TTS...with the twin clutch tranny-this is my third car with this type....it's a fantastic better than a manual tranny.

  • @GaBoYnFla

Yea, I'm a T1 complete so I don't have any feeling/muscle control below my chest. Cool you can still walk. Keep it up! Nope, not twin clutch so it's not an immediate shift like your Audi. The TTS is sick. :)

  • Great to see that a sports coupe is accessible....I'm guessing you were a car guy before you accident?

  • @GaBoYnFla

Yea, I've always been into cars...as long as I can remember. I can't work on them as well as I used to but I can still do some stuff. I changed my brakes and rotors by myself a few months back.. Hardest part was mounting the wheels back on since all I have is arm and shoulder strength and no core or back muscles.

  • Good for you man, nice car!
