lol these comments are funny.... its a house the is anchorred and they float on huge barrels and they have running water showers toilets cable and phones lol my rents own one! the ppl do not live there all year long but u can get to them in the winter by walking out on the ice. they also have ac and heat. theres a little bit of useful info for anyone who wants to know... and they are grandfathered so u can not add anymore or buy them...
In the 1960's my parents took my sister and I to a party that was held on one of these houseboats. We took our Poodles along and we were so afraid our dogs were going to fall in the water, as the walkway around the house was narrow.

I have lived in Erie for 19 years and I love this place. People say that it's lame but really it's not. I'm in college and it's in a little hick town and all I want to do is go back to Erie every weekend because there is nothing to do here.
