I fookin love my rush evo with a passion!! tuned pipe from a firestorm, sway bars, stiffer springs and it beats down (: oh happy days, great vid and tune keep on bashin they can take it!

ive just got a rush where are your needle settings how many turns etc from stock high speed needle and low speed

@dhudson369 stock is all the way in then undo 2 and a half out, make sure the lower needle (access from the back) is flush with the carb body too, i find 2 and a quarter optimum but you must leave it to cool between tanks cos that makes it run hot but FAST!!! lol

@dhudson369 Yep you are correct i can admit i am wrong, just got back from a late night bashin and dug the manual out it is 3 turns, i remeber why i thought it was 2 and a half its because my engine is old very old 4 years or so now and wont run at all at factory settings, but instead 2 and a half then tweak it from there, you will find that between summer and winter you want to run it richer and leaner, richer in winter and leaner in summer good luck happy bashin

lmao, i have a rush to and i find it IMPOSSIBLE to break! iv had it for 3 years and all iv changed is front left wishbone ( because dad reversed over it) and the rear tyres.

Funny you should ask that, I have just got it ready for more bashing, I have put the T-15 out of my MT2 in it, but will be putting a Thunder Tiger pro 21 in it next week and putting the T-15 back in the MT2.

hi i have just bought a hpi rush evo and having a few problems i cant get the engine to idle at a low enough rpm so that the wheels stop spinning. i have set the needle as the instructions said close completely then turn out 3 times but i cant set the idle screw low enough without the engine cutting out ive checked the clutch and is working perfectly if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

Is the throttle trim on the control turned down? you also may need to turn your idle screw in a bit, take the air filter off and take a look at the gap in the carb, it should only be 1mm, if it is more than that, that is the problem.

i got a second hand xt2 a few weeks ago with HN wheels and tyres and i put a GO .21 in it, it goes like sh*t off a shovel lol

Both are good, petrol is cheaper to run, what ever you do make sure the car you get has spare parts easy enough to get hold of.

kk thanks im thinking of getting the nitro asmann virus because it is ready built and comes with a set of basic spares and is sold at most the modle shops. so tahnks again

I have seen these going, they look great but spare are a bit hard to come by, try sticking to HPI TRAXXAS or Schumacher, you will always get parts for those aswell as Hong Nor, Habao and many others, do a search of the net and see what you can find.

i think u should get a nitro there easier to drive i recon i had a traxxis nitro sport as my first car and it went pritty good besides when i burnt out the slipper clutch to many times so i bought a xtm xt2 it is running alot better than the traxxis nitro sport

drewbarron if it was too lean there would be less smoke not more, if anythig it's a little too rich but looks ok, read your glow plug that will tell you how well you have your engine tuned 9you can only 'read' a fairly new glow plug)
