This is great stuff. My Father, Sgt. W. I. Lewis, was Squad Leader 745, 84th Infantry, 335th Infantry Regiment. I lost my father in 1976 to cancer and my Mom in 2008. We're going through the letters Dad wrote to Mom and the Stars and Strips clippings they saved. Really gripping accounts of his experiences. This video is a treasure. Thank you for sharing.
Go 84th INF!!!! My dad was in this unit during WWII. I don't know the exact battalion, he never would talk much about it. He did participate in the Battle of the Bulge. He only mentioned it was bitterly cold and many of his friends died. That's about it. I sure do miss my dad. He passed in 1994. Last name Nunez.
My grandfather, PFC Thomas R. Austin, was with 334G. He was KIA 7 Mar 1945. He is my hero, though I never new him. I am looking for information about him. If anybody has any information. please let me know. Thank you Rail Splitters!
Greetings to everyone. My name is Tim and I have published a book all about this epic military campaign. It is entitled: THE ARDENNES ON FIRE: VOLUME ONE. The book contains 101 photograpghs and many detailed, hand-drawn maps that really add to the story greatly. It is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, along with Xlibris. Please check it out!
My group does reenactments of these men from time to time. It's a wonderful thing, and we meet alot of the vets from the war, a couple might have been in this video.

I know Mr. Paul Rosin, who served in this division.

It's filmed during Operation Grenade (crossing of the Roer/Rur river) in February 1945. Not Battle of the Bulge.

I wonder, how many of the soldiers on the video survived the Battle of the Bulge?

This is a relief because all of the ww2 footage from this website has been from german propoganda films. This is refreshing.
