  • Then after a child is killed by a speeding car, the same moron who put out the sign will demand justice

  • Good. They just want to make money. If you truly want to serve, make yourself present.

  • How about do the speed limit and you won't have any problems. Its not the police department fault that some of you people are complete morons, which is fairly obvious by most of the comments on here.

  • ahh nice to see my tax money out saving lives from those punk skaters or those drunk college kids minding their business in their appartments or thosedriving 5mph over!!!

quick! lets murder and rob while their lazy asses are sitting by the side of the road.

last time i checked... speed doesnt kill, sudden stops do.

dear police...start doing your job and stop profiling on us 19 year olds in sports cars and in college just because you cock suckers are too dumbass and poor to afford it

  • Whenever I see speed traps, it makes me feel safe. That means that all the criminals are locked up, since the police got nothing better to do.

  • Warning before speed traps - cause' speed limits are there ONLY to annoy people and have no real reason whatsoever.

  • @RubertaLang It's all about collecting revenue. Do some research and you will see that accident and fatality rate both go down when there is no speed limit. Look at when Montana went without a speed limit and you will see what I am talking about.

  • @wcfinvader If you looked at the numbers in a skewed way one would be lead to think that. Unfortunately one would be wrong. Let's compare the Autobahn with the US highway system. In 2009 there were 2.7 fatalities per billion km traveled on the Autobahn compared to the US rate of 4.5. So right off it looks as if the US as has that amount. However, when one takes ridership into account the US fares far better as US Roads carry far more riders than the Autobahn. Speed limits save lives.

  • @wcfinvader You're so full of crap. There is no place on earth where there's not some speed limit *SOMEWHERE*. Saying you should be allowed to drive as fast as you wish all the time because it "hurts nobody" is like saying you should be allowed to drive drunk when it hurts nobody. It's just incredibly stupid.

  • @RubertaLang Ever heard of the German autobahns? Don't go spewing non-sense. Anyways this sign needs to be a little bigger don'tcha think? It is totally about revenue and most states give these pigs quotas, the way the quota system works is if you don't reach a certain number of tickets per week you don't get overtime. And believe it or not their are soulless leeches who eat from the hard working Americans while producing nothing of their own and could careless about your grocerys or kids.

  • @fawkUtube Since I happen to live in Germany, yes, I have heared of the Autobahn. And, believe it or not, contrary to stupid American's rumors, there ARE sections with speed limits (and speed traps) on the Autobahn. Get your facts straight. In any case, any tickets can be avoided by just obeying the fucking law. Is that so hard?

  • @RubertaLa Is it so hard for grown men to act like it instead of behaving like kids playing hide and seek, hiding in the bushes waiting to take someones paycheck? taking my money isn't going to change the fact that i was speeding nor will it make me think twice next time. It's counter-productive.i went through a red light yesterday the glare of the sun was right on the lights and couldn't see it at all red light camera flicked , the shit is rigged.I watch this camera go off all day.

  • @fawkUtube If it really does NOT make you think twice next time, the fine probably is still too small. Maybe twice or three times the current amount WOULD make you consider your behavior. Also, free hint from me: If you're unable to SEE if the lights show red or green, don't assume "green". Assume "red". Also keeps you out of trouble and others safe.

  • @RubertaLang In the real world if you stop at a green light you get hit from behind and then it's your fault. If the fines were 3 to 4x i would consider just shooting the cop when he pulled me over. Good day=)

  • @RubertaLang Everytime i get a ticket i do the following. I go to court plead not guilty get found guilty appeal it wait until my appeal date and then i file for continuance, then 3 months later i request a jury trial then a few months later we go to court .....half of my charges have been dropped doing this and I tie up the courts system for over a year and a half =) Its fun to be a pain in the ass and no the fines aren't high enough if i can afford a jury trial everytime ^.^

  • @RubertaLang You're so right. I should be allowed to do 120 through residential areas. Fuck it. Sidewalks are useless too. I think I should drive on that wasted road space.

  • keep the sign up even when the police are there and it will help save lives (pedestrians and drivers in your neighbourhood). the police are really only successful when they don't give out tickets because everyone is being safe.

  • Please tell me what it takes to be so lame that instead of working ( oh that's right, Obama pays for you to be parasites) you go out and inform lawbreakers to slow down only because the police are there, not to save lives. Please please can I sign up to be a douche just like you????? NOT !!!!!

  • yessah..

  • @ylen 13. Tar and feather here you are! "what kind of nazzi rock did you crawl out from under" achoo achtoon

  • So you warn people who are breaking the law about people trying to stop law breakers?

  • LOL, Priceless work there my young lass. As many others have felt and stated thus far, the POLICE do have an active role in the operation of a community. However, as so many can see these days, all to well, they no longer protect or serve, some don't even show up when you call to report a crime. At this point, I protect myself, my family, friends and neigbors alike. The POLICE instead have become roving tax collectors, controlled by POLITICIANS! SAD SITUATION INDEED!

  • Police are a important part of our society, even though our taxes pay their salary, it is a service. We are paying for the service for them to watch our streets and make sure they are safe. When someone breaks in your house, the first thing you call is the police and cry to them. These cops here are making sure people arent breaking the law by speeding. If you don't want cops to collect a revenue, don't speed. It's a law we all have to follow.

  • @JumboShot33 ....... bwahahahahahahahahahahaa........ bwahahahahahahaa

  • @JumboShot33 oh if only that were true...

1 - Cops are an illegal establishment according to the US Constitution. Badges themselves are illegal. It was supposed to be a people's force, no badges, just citizens enforcement ran by citizens.

2 - When someone breaks in, the first thing I do is grab my gun and spill blood. 2nd Amendment is there for such a reason. When folks in Florida were disarmed, many were robbed and the cops were off the scene.

    3 - ....... poor you....

  • @GarySpatzScam Poor me? what so poor about me? Im just stating my opinion... that would also be the first thing I would do is grab my gun and kill the bitch that breaks in my house, then i'd call the police. If there were no laws and no one to enforce them, the world would be pretty crazy, much crazier than it is. Police are important.

  • @GarySpatzScam how old is that constitution or law you speak of?

  • @vancouvercity1 Who cares how old it is, that doesn't mean anything

  • You should be arrested for interfering with policy activity.

  • @ylen13 policy activity? lol, moron

  • @7point62mmby51 I meant police, it's called typo

  • @ylen13 i know what you meant...whats funny is it was spelled correctly for you in the fucking video...yer still a moron for spelling AND for siding with the cops

  • @ylen13 Honestly I hate cops I could give a shit less. Most people become a cop just to have power over people. To me they deserve a bullet

  • @ylen13 And you sound like one of those who supports TYRRANY! Police Activity you say? Hiding in the shrubbry? I am sorry, that appears more like deviant behavior to me, always skating dangerously close to the line of entrapment.

In the video, I see, no flashing lights, blinkers, flashers or indicators which display they are acting under official business being where they are... So, I think you might want to step off your soapbox and run now before you are verbally tared and feathered!

  • Got to love NH. I cant wait to move there one day.

  • just going on what my political science told me from what her husband (judge) said, it's called interference with police officer(s) in the line of duty. You can hold a sign in protest of something, but not to warn drivers... it would be the same situation if cops where stopping cars down the road because they heard of some drug trafficing and you hold a sign at the turn off to the road warning drivers. you'd go to jail for a very long time for that... those are the facts

  • good thing you didn't get caught, that is extremely illegal. looks like that speed trap is there possibly because drivers go way too fast by that side road, go too fast through the stop light(hazard for emergency vehicles), and possible crashes have accurred. speed traps are there to stop people from breaking laws. if it is there just to ticket(via % of motorist ticketed from total that pass) for money gains then you can fight it and cops can't camp there anymore. :) just don't get caught :D

  • @jigglymig I would put up a sign: "DO NOT SPEED. SERIOUSLY." Short, to the point, and not illegal.

Warning people not to speed is not illegal, and gets the point across. In most areas, signs are allowed on public roads for a short time.

  • @jigglymig it is not highly illegal, actually it's totally legal, if you were to cover up a photo radar then you could be charged.

  • It's funny. When I was in the Army in North Carolina. Passing motorists would warn you of police up the road. They would flash their lights. But...Here in California, no one will. Not sure why? You always have to be on alert.

  • @jpd782 It's illegal to flash your lights, you can be arrested for that.

  • Awesome!

  • Flashing your lights for other drivers will get you a ticket in Florida.

  • @Vindaven Ticket...yes, conviction....no. The last two I received for this were thrown out.

  • @SRMeadows Why did the judge throw them out?

  • @Vindaven The judge ruled that the statute defined the word(s) "flashing lights" to indicate an adjective, not an adverb, which would describe the manual operation of the headlights (high beam or on and off).

The statute language refers to certain installed (permanent or temporary) mechanical devices which by virtue of design, and operation, emit a flashing light (strobes, beacon etc...)......

  • @Vindaven Also,....the implication that the officer has cited a motorist for flashing their headlights with the express intent to warn (communicate with) other drivers is a direct violation of freedom of speech. Some would argue that flashing headllights does not fall under this, as "spoken" words are not possible...

However ANY communication, either by spoken words, sign language, or visual means , are considered "speech" by defination, and for all intents and purposes.

  • Great job!

  • I am all for the freeman movement but with the power of being a free and wonderful human being comes the responsibility to act in a manner that is unlikely to result in harm to others. If you are driving fast down a dead straight, clear road in good conditions, then exceeding the speed limit is probably OK. If you are a jackass who gambles with the lives of everyone around you, then you will eventually break the LAW by hurting someone or damaging their property, then you will be F*CKED!

  • @BalloonCreations09

    Eloquent words indeed.

  • @BalloonCreations09 correct people who speed excessively and weave between vehicles and cut off other motorists are endangering others safety only when this happens should you be cited for reckless endangerment and not under any circumstances "speeding"

  • I had a guy recently tailgating me in my car after unsafely passing others and waiting to get by me. Once he did, he was tooling at well over 80 in a 40 zone with kids on bikes traveling etc. Up ahead - some shithead coming the other way warned him with headlights - so he slowed down - cop never knew - and that is that. SO....isegoria1 is absolutely correct. Take the thumbs down with your head up....they make me feel good.

  • I see exactly what you described happen way too often. It would appear that many think the speed limit is a suggestion. Funny how they think they can drive as good as the Germans on the Autobahn and less than 1/4 of them could pass the German driving test.

  • FUCKING COWARD Looks like someone else is busy being a child and removing comments too.

Look just drive what ever speed you like and watch for me and others like me to ram your ass off the road.

This video is still and oxymoron in action and the retarded commentary proves it.

BTW - Why the FUCK are you bitching at me about trugrit? It could be that you are stupid.

  • This came up as a reply to me? Relax - I didn't say anything at all towards you except in FAVOR of you - as noted above. LAWD JEEBUS.

  • Please excuse my over reaction.

  • Comment removed

  • Get a clue - spew bullshit and your hate to the thread in general rather than to me.

    Find some balls

Thanks for further punctuating this oxymoron of a video, SoggyHoof

  • lol, FANTASTIC!

  • Thanks.

Police do this on my road all the time. I see people being harassed nearly everyday.

I think I'm going to put a sign up next time I see them parked out here.

  • Well then let them race through at any speed they like. I suppose that would be the right thing to do huh?

This is little more than a childish antic to piss on authority.

  • Beautiful.

  • you go lauren! your my hero. imagine how much money the state missed cause of you and your sign

  • I flash my lights at other motorists warning them that cops are in the process of revenue collecting.

  • I flash my light to as long as the cop can't see me doing it. As for the sign that Lauren did great there is a speed trap I know of that I am thinking about doing this at.

  • That's a regular practice here in Australia. Whenever someone gives you two quick flashes with their lights during the day, or high beams at night, we know what it means. ;)

  • That's great, and I like to warn others also, but be careful, if you are seen doing so by another officer you could be pulled over because it is illegal to flash your lights or high beams at other motorists, I think they claim it is causes a distraction.

  • Do you know what an obstruction of justice ticket costs you?

  • More than a speeding ticket, I know that much.

  • In Wisconsin it is about $400

  • I don't hang around long enough to get caught. HEHE.

  • Thumb down? Childish just like the antics in this video. Maybe we should just let them run any damn speed they like?

Now there is a great idea for the tree huggers bitchin about how much gas people consume with their floored gas hogs.

This video is a oxymoron in action.

  • hurray!!

  • ROTFLMAO!!!

    Great work!

  • Hill and a curve = illegal speed trap

  • That's awesome!

  • whoever does this sort of thing is wicked awesome

  • awesome
