We definitely need a nationalist and pro-people government but I believe that the only way to achieve this is to work hand-in-hand with all sectors especially the peasantry and together work to alleviate their status through collective effort and upliftment. Through a genuine cultural and national revolution that genuinely has care and interest for the masses that it serves. If we are to have a nationalist government it should be a government and social context applicable to our country.

Hi, as a Filipino in Canada, I really think that "we have to change our own attitudes first" excuse is a cop-out. It's not a question of rules, when those that make the rules break or ignore them, according to whenever they benefit. The problem lies in the administration, and those that can make a killing--literally.
