@lonelyEuphoria I use a lot of different glues/adhesives ~ different glues/adhesive work better for different tasks. My favorite tape runner is my Scotch ATG 700 by 3M & I use the Scotch 908 Gold by 3M refills in the 0.5" width and the 60 yard length. For liquid glues I like the Scotch Quickdry and Beacon 3-in-1. The Beacon gives you a little more positioning time {and is cheaper than the Scotch}, but they both dry quickly and dry clear. I also use hot glue, glue dots and the Scotch foam tape.
@harleycropperchopper I think I made the "A" in two different ways. For one, I cut the top part off a "d" and for the other, I cut down a "l" and glued it next to a "c" since both of those looked good with this font. Not all fonts work the same way, but this one gave me a lot of options.
I showed my hubby your video so he could get some ideas to help me get started on a series of videos I want to make soon... and he said, "Wow!" So that comment comes from a non-scrapbooker, but a great scrubby supporter! Wow from me too! Hugs- Joyce
I love the attention to detail and your tips are always welcome! It's looking gorgeous, I think this one is my favourites after the princess mini album, oh and the beach mini, oh and the engagement mini ... oh I give up :-p
Hope you charge your camera! We don't want to miss anything, haha :D
Thank you so much ~ I'm so glad you've liked all of the videos! :D I don't think I missed any of this album coming together, so we're all good for this series!
love how you take the letters and put them on a ruler!!! My words are always crooked!!! and what size are your photos?? did you get then printed out that size or trim them down?
Putting the letters on a ruler is my favorite technique for titles It makes them straight and I can shift them around on the layout and put them exactly where I want them! The photos in this album are 3"x4" and I printed them out in that size on my photo printer {Epson R1900} since that is a good size for a mini album. Thanks for watching & I'm glad you enjoyed it!
i love this album it has made me dig out my running numbers and certificates and photos so i can show them off! thanks for another great video can't wait to see the rest.best wishes from amanda.
Thanks so much, Amanda! I am so glad I inspired you to celebrate your running achievements ~ that's awesome! :D Have fun with that & thanks for watching!
Hi, I've just started getting into scrapbooking. Which brand/type of adhesive would you recommend?
