"Seizure" mode proves your "frame rate issue" theory. It kind of strobes then becomes solid then strobes again. At least that's how my monitor is showing it lol.

Thats cool! You can see how the LEDs refresh like a display, for example on the purple it is alternating between red and blue quickly. The camera just picks it up like an old style monitor. Cool video :)

i have accent lighting behind entertainment center TV, 7.1 Audio n speakers had it for ages. I also have it on my walls although they are warm white led. The tape you want is VHB tape by 3m homedepot has it and tap plastics they have clear and grey. The flicker is coming from PWM from the controller that is how it dims the lights.. PWM = Pulse Width Modulation.

There's a product on Amazon from a company called "PPA" that i've got installed behind my TV. It doesn't come with many of the extras yours came with, only 2 light strips, and the remote does not have as many functions but it has been working great for me. They also sell additional parts for expanding their kit, all on Amazon and with Prime shipping! Only thing to be careful about is they have several sets that look very similar, some are white lights only, and some are light strips only.
