  • the guy playing bigfoot looked real to me. I was almost 2 years old when this documentary was made.

  • This movie scared the crap out of me. Back in 1976 I use to backpack with my brothers, Dad, and uncle into the back country of Serria Navadas. One night me and my brother heard something walking on two feet behind are tent. We were to scared to look outside . This was 20 miles in and nobody around. It took us 2 and half day to reach this point. Are food was gone the next morning. My Dad said it was a bear. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. i was relief when I saw the van we drove in.

  • Who is narrating this trailer? I remember the voice and the face, but not the person. He also narrated other documentaries of this type.

  • @orionprime Brad Crandall.

  • I'm surprised nobody has downloaded this entire documentary on YouTube. And the one with Peter Graves seems to be and exact copy. what am I missing?

  • the ad with the bigfoot crashing through the window freaked me out forever.. even now that I know these are mostly peaceful animals

  • Did anybody jump when that arm came through the window??!! S--- , I did!!!!

  • @windstorm1000 No. I qustioned why it didn't smash through the wall and grope about.

  • This show scared the crap out of me when I was little, my dad and I went too see it in theaters. I think that was my first exposure too Bigfoot, even though it was dramatizations, it scared the hell out of me when his arm broke through the window. Ahhh memories. lol

  • How the hell did they get so much footage if these things if they're supposed to be mysterious?

  • They're not monsters, they're just missunderstood!!! Me and bigfoot go up the pub everyday!!!

  • @affedude

    HaHa!

  • It's documentaries like this that triggered my interest in horror movies.

  • Maybe that Bigfoot wanna mate with that woman. LOL

  • he should have listened to the stories of nessie.

  • Relating that speed boat drivers death to the Lochness monster = amazing deductive work!

Using these same deductive principals I have figured out that Jack the Ripper is in fact Peter Pan.

  • @57dragonball It's claimed in the film that his boat hit a "mysterious wake." Oooooh, doesn't that make you want to give up fishing? LOL!

  • This Video sucks soo unclassic thias is such a fucking video and a fucking maker whast a shit... and soo lame......

  • @xGodxLike

    ey fuck you man

  • Out on DVD from Cheezy Flicks. Picked mine up for around $6.

  • @Devo13

    hell yah i paid 8

  • In 1976 I remember seen the tv spots for this movie and other like this.

These movies were released to theaters back then. Now we seem like on Discovery Channel and History Channel.

  • I remember seeing this in 1976 when I was 10. The 'dramatizations' involving Bigfoot really scared me!

  • @Bizarronumber4 - I was 10 then too and the Bigfoot stuff scared me too- I remember when the arm crashed through the window and grabbed the lady inside- I read this book religiously when I was 10- got to get another copy sometime- the 70s was a great time to be a kid!

  • @Bizarronumber4 Man...same here. I saw that on TV and then in the theater, and had nightmares for weeks. What a great time that was, before all of the internet debunking :)

  • their monsters, but more importantly...their mysterious.

  • Freaked me out at the age of 10, still creeps me at 42. That hand through the window scene, brrrrrrr!

  • Most in our age group experienced the same thing Kenneth...LOL. Love the great documentaries of the 70's...greatest time ever to be a kid.

  • Amen to that one!!!

  • The guy's boat crashed, so it must have been the monster. Ahh, I see.

  • Ahhh....Sunn Classics. It was impossible to grow up in the 1970s and NOT cross paths with Sunn Classics at some point or another. I did see "The Mysterious Monsters" theatrically, and it was at least one of the better examples of these kinds of movies.

  • Dang! That looks fantastic! I hope they show that in Imax!

  • Well, given that it's over 30 years old... probably not.

  • Ha!
