This movie scared the crap out of me. Back in 1976 I use to backpack with my brothers, Dad, and uncle into the back country of Serria Navadas. One night me and my brother heard something walking on two feet behind are tent. We were to scared to look outside . This was 20 miles in and nobody around. It took us 2 and half day to reach this point. Are food was gone the next morning. My Dad said it was a bear. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. i was relief when I saw the van we drove in.
This show scared the crap out of me when I was little, my dad and I went too see it in theaters. I think that was my first exposure too Bigfoot, even though it was dramatizations, it scared the hell out of me when his arm broke through the window. Ahhh memories. lol
@Bizarronumber4 - I was 10 then too and the Bigfoot stuff scared me too- I remember when the arm crashed through the window and grabbed the lady inside- I read this book religiously when I was 10- got to get another copy sometime- the 70s was a great time to be a kid!
@Bizarronumber4 Man...same here. I saw that on TV and then in the theater, and had nightmares for weeks. What a great time that was, before all of the internet debunking :)
Ahhh....Sunn Classics. It was impossible to grow up in the 1970s and NOT cross paths with Sunn Classics at some point or another. I did see "The Mysterious Monsters" theatrically, and it was at least one of the better examples of these kinds of movies.
the guy playing bigfoot looked real to me. I was almost 2 years old when this documentary was made.

Who is narrating this trailer? I remember the voice and the face, but not the person. He also narrated other documentaries of this type.

I'm surprised nobody has downloaded this entire documentary on YouTube. And the one with Peter Graves seems to be and exact copy. what am I missing?

Relating that speed boat drivers death to the Lochness monster = amazing deductive work!
Using these same deductive principals I have figured out that Jack the Ripper is in fact Peter Pan.

@57dragonball It's claimed in the film that his boat hit a "mysterious wake." Oooooh, doesn't that make you want to give up fishing? LOL!

In 1976 I remember seen the tv spots for this movie and other like this.
These movies were released to theaters back then. Now we seem like on Discovery Channel and History Channel.

I remember seeing this in 1976 when I was 10. The 'dramatizations' involving Bigfoot really scared me!
