the pink ones aren't special its cause u can make ur own custom ones on the v-moda website... i my self got my own custom shields made with a classic mini on them (coz i have one) and u can get a nice range of colours BUT they didnt have my fave color (yellow) so i got the original shields pro painted by my friend to a perfect Ferrari yellow finish (same colour i got my mini painted with ;) but these are insain headphones and PERFECT for gaming!

@simbeane the beats pro are by far the better pair of headphones. they have rich deep bass and fantastic mids and highs. the vmodas are more for techno. with the beats pros you get it all! if you would like i am selling my pair of beats pros for 350$ free shipping. they are barely used. let me know
hey, I want to get the studios but im scared of the build quality and that it might break on me if im not to careful + i think the price for 3 49 canada is a bit hefty. now tht i saw your review ive been wanting these, ive tried them out at my local apple store and i absolutely adore the sound quality. do you think these were worth the 199 price point? because im willing to pay if these are that good. And Awesome review btw! :)

@TheNxtLife it depends on a few things my friend...the sonys do sound really good especially for the price! but the vmodas have a few winning points over the sonys. they support mobile devices, they are much more portable, one side braided cord, a carrying case, much better bass and though the sonys are very durable the vmodas definitely have 200$ worth of build quality. they also look very stylish with your choice of 5 different colors and not many people have them.
