it fits the song so well. the anxiety and distress is really well conveyed.

I agree with most the things here but I still think they still put out alot of good music. I think alot of bands in the type of genre that Thursday is in all have usually thier "best" work in the first or second cd. I really like this song but I did expect more on the cd. But A city divided is still a great cd... just not as good as full collapse or war all the time.

i won't lie - i got into these guys in War All The Time era, but honestly - if you listen to it compared to this or City, it's kind of a stale record. as much as i like some of the songs - its a major label release, its watered down. City was a huge step forward for them musically because it showcased them doing what they wanted despite the heavy hand of corporate record label sponsorship.

I doubt that Thursday would release a video that had nothing to do with meaning of the song. Geoff is too smart of a person to do something that lame. Sure Understand in a Car Crash was just a live performance. I feel like this video/song has something to do with someone close to you who has lost themselves to drugs. Geoff seems in a drunk state in the beginning of the video and the whole cock roach/dream-like state of the bridge makes me think of drugs.

Both this song and video are such a huge deviation from Thursday's style...the lyrics are obviously very literal, instead of the usual trademarked Thursday metaphors and vague but meaningful symbolism...and the video...giant dancing cockroaches? I'm not saying either the video or the song are terrible, but it's really strange seeing and hearing such major changes.
