Greensboro rocks. Don't take it for granted. You could live somewhere like Idaho. Greensboro is North Carolina's 3rd biggest city after Charlotte and Raleigh, respectively.

As a former Floridian and New Yorker, I've seen a lot of Asians, African Americans, and Mexicans in the triad area. Greensboro/Highpoint has a much lower cost of living, slower pace, and growing. The triad area is a nice place to raise a family. In greensboro and cities close by, you have access to theaters, parks, zoos, a water park, visual arts center, good restaurants, lots of clubs in the triad area, performing arts center, and concerts.
