  • hah im faster lol xD

  • what the fake

  • 23 moves? damn thats impressive.

  • L,D',R',B2,R',D',L,U,F2,U,D,B2,U',B2,U',L2,D,F2,B2,U',L2,F2,U a total of 23 moves :O thats impressive ;)

  • must you input the moves necessary or is it automatic

  • whats the point in this

  • @GunsMakeSmiles whats the point in this comment?

  • hows the cure for cancer going?

  • Cut a wire :D

  • thats stupid... ive seen 12yr old kids solve it faster than this peice of shit

  • Wow Extrafantasious

  • ok!

  • Was the cube modified to accept the shafts or can any cube be placed in there?

  • some ppl solve it in 10 seconds

  • @xChYpIx the world record now is 6.22 seconds

  • Looks like my mom's Dildo :p

    Seriously.

  • Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's aaaaaliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive

  • AWESOMESAUCENESS.

  • IMHO, it looks like stop motion animation...

  • Nice!

  • whoa whoa this machine can solve a rubiks cube blind? Can i borrow it so it can do my laundry and my homework? :D

  • can u tell me those steps plese i really want them

  • @musclemania128 The steps are calculated with programs. Methods that human beings can use most likely use three times the moves as a machine. go check out some tutorials.

  • Couldn't the poles act as center pieces?

  • it will destroy us aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllll

  • We should all feel sad ):

  • wow. its so awesome.. !!

  • lol its scary =[

  • hahaha,

so, how fast can it solve the puzzle?

  • @angusthegreat - this is a great solver but if you're interested in high speed Rubik's Cube solving robots look for RoboticSolutions "CubeStormer" it is absolutely amazing! ;-)

  • @IAssemble

    thanks for the suggestion

  • someone's got time on their hands to build this. LOL!

  • lol

  • congratulations, we have machines to solve puzzles for us. soon our brains will not be needed and we can all just sit around eating nachos :D

  • @irishtrash15

    YAY!

  • @irishtrash15 You realise it's remote controled?

  • @irishtrash15 OMG I LOOOOVE NACHOS

  • @irishtrash15 the robot was programmed with the algorithms to solve it

    it hasn't a brain

  • @arcaniser Actually not. It would be a huge-ass computer to handle 43 quintillion algorithms.

  • @anyone584 not everypuzzle in the world just this plain rubik cube --'

  • @arcaniser No! You understood it wrong!

The Rubik's Cube has 43 quintillion possible arrangements. So to solve a Rubik's Cube with pre-sets algorithms, the computer would have to store 43 quintillion algorithms. That's why a scan is necessary. With the scan, the computer can quickly make an algorithm that solves the cube. And that requires less that a Gigabyte.

    For example, the 4x4 Rubik's Cube has 7 401 196 841 564 901 869 874 093 974 498 574 336 000 000 000 possible arrangements. A 2x2x1, 5.

  • @irishtrash15 yeah, finally our brains will take a rest and all will be alright

  • @irishtrash15 but we need our brains to eat nachos... :( FUCK! our plans were ruined

  • @irishtrash15 most of the U.S. has already reached that point :D

  • @irishtrash15 mmm, cant wait

  • @irishtrash15 We also got machines for eating nachos ;)

  • @ThaLutos haha.. really?

  • @genevivewoods Don't think so =P

  • @irishtrash15 If our brains are not needed who's gonna make the machines?? :)

  • @irishtrash15 As long as we have people that create machines like this, the world still has hope. I find making a machine that solves it is far more impressive than if you'd solve one yourself. I can solve a Rubik's cube, but have no fucking idea how to create a machine that can do it faster than most people.

  • ha wow

  • Void Cubes are Cubes without center pieces or center cores.

  • @wsoxrule923222 hence the "void"

  • Comments like this make me want to cry.

  • made by different ppl

  • sounded like a reverse scramble :P

  • how did u make that

  • beautiful please send me a void cube

  • Big deal, it'd still take forever to do

  • its not fake stop motion

look at the yellow sticker on the right / front at 0:19

  • no cause u see the camera shaking

  • /want

  • that was cool

  • It has a delay of about 1.30 seconds after each twist...And STILL it beats my PB by ten seconds! I'm mad now...

LOL nice machina there...I didn't know there were machina that could calculate a near-God's-algorithm solve.

  • it uses 2 phase algorithm

  • it has a square on the end of each pole slotted inside each layer to rotate it

  • How do u build that???

  • tight

  • lol that's weird

  • the cube was scrambled like a 3x3x2 though lol

  • that was pretty tight.

  • It gets a quick solve, but don't you think the delay between moves is a bit much? If you made the delay like 1/4 second or something it could probably solve it in like 20 seconds.

  • That delay may be computation time. It did a 23 move solve, which suggests that it might be a near-optimal solver. I doubt that this is a reverse scramble, since the machine seems like a feasible design.

  • iv'e heard that a normal cube can be solved in 25 moves. correct me if im wrong (and i think i am because this is 23) but it might also be a reverse solve...

  • It's 22.

  • oh, ok

  • you're right, it can be done in less if you let a computer take ages to work out the best solution.

Cube cheater does it in about 20 moves on the iPhone

  • kool
