Animals don't suffer. They run, they fight and bear their pain to the death unconsciously. They don't know anything else. People project human-type suffering onto animals. Humans suffer because they are not ready to die, are afraid and seek comfort. Animals are luckier because they don't have the option of cowardice nor to they avoid pain and seek comfort. The best way to kill an animal is to have it bleed to death quickly/significantly so the meat is healthier for consumption.
I think that is a "Rube Goldberg" design. I was looking for marbles to roll down a ramp and cards to go flying and dominoes to fall over. Very labor intensive (time) and uses a lot of cordage and still doesn't work, but the idea is good.

To much work in a survival situation.Also the same design can be created by a Scissor trap,wich is much faster to set and less work.

...the trap didnt work... at 8:00 the noose was suppose snare the animal and it didnt. when your dependent on traps... they HAVE TO WORK.

the trap that i have posted grabs onto the animal and holds onto it tight like a boa-constrictor. no chance for escape, no suffering
