Fact: If your dog was TRULY healthy, he/she would have ZERO fleas.

@masterdrakul Yes, my dog DOES have fleas - which means he's NOT healthy. I'm replacing his food with REAL food. Do you give your dogs any flea medication? My dog gets a bath twice a month, what gave you the idea that baths get rid of fleas?

No, my dogs don't have any flea medication. I just keep my garden clean every day and washed every week. And you're not supposed to give lots of bath on dogs, 'cause it takes away their natural protection. Maybe that's the reason why your dogs are having fleas... But I'm just trying to help you. And yes, since beeing clean keeps the fleas away from a dog, is a natural assumptions that bath can help it... But, hey, a just someone who took care of dogs for more than 26 years... What would I know?

@masterdrakul Baths don't keep fleas away, unless you're getting rid of fleas DURING the bath. Fleas look for blood, so it wouldn't really matter if the dog was clean or not. It doesn't matter how long you've owned dogs for, what matters is what sort of information you've been fed for the past 26 years.

But, again, as a someone who breeds dogs over 26 years, and also take them to vet twice a week, and also have no parasits on them... Well, I must know a litlle bit of caring. And this bit is really a better quality information than yours... Anyways, good luck on your fleas... Ops, on your dog's fleas.

Too bad pedigree is crappy food. It has corn as the first ingredient. Along with by product meals and corn gluten meal. This stuff shouldn't be allowed on the shelves. If you feed pedigree, you are killing your dog.

Well if Premium dog food was more accessible, then i would buy that. We been feeding from pedigree to other "market dog food brands", and havent had any major problems with it.My oldest dachshund lived up to 15 years.

I have had a cocker spaniel, a German Shepherd a St Bernard, Labrador, Dalmatians and now for 10 years a dachshund, As much as I loved all my dogs the dachshund is by far the most fun. They have personality in buckets and my Doug has more brains than all the other dogs I have had put together. Ad the Germans say : Einmal ein Dackel, immer ein Dackel. Once you;ve had one you'll always have one.

My Puppy was in a pound for SIX months (His WHOLE life he was in a 6 X 12 cage) in Georgia the day we got him was his supposed last day to live, he was scheduled to be put down the next day, he is now very happy with his buddy pickles and they now run on 85 Acers. :) His name is rosco hes huge! ill post up a vid telling his stiry soon
