@dblocknyc Vernon Forrest, Lamont Peterson, Steve Forbes, Chop Chop Corley & in the women's ranks; Laila Ali but once Floyd became pound for pound he didn't want his trainer working with Male fighters because those fighters were around his weight division.

@dblocknyc I never said he made Lamont champ but he gave Vernon his foundation. He was his trainer as an amateur. He also works with the Dirrell brothers. Many fighters will pay for other trainer's assistance in certain areas of training without havin them as their chief 2nd in the fight. There's no doubt that he is a great trainer. You also have to remember how many fighters Arum owns & thus Roger would never be able to train them even if the fighter requested. You gotta look at the big picture

Theres no point of him saying this Berto is great, De la hoya is great, manny is great, all these people that the media already give credit too...when floyd is just as great or greater but no one in the outside of boxing media will say that...How would you feel if you were the best at something and people never wanted to say you were good at it no matter how many times you prove you are...probably would be bitter too
