You are right about our nation being in trouble. The GOP managed to kill the Clinton boom, and turn a 1.5 trillion surplus into a 10 trillion debt. The victory Obama won is a win for all Americans. My freind, I am a reg. dem. I regret that I am and I will never vote by the party again. I also thought we did well when Clinton was in office. I did not like Bush. You cant blame him for every thing though. His term was dictated by 9/11. But we have never had a socialist party (Obamas) trying to destroy our country before. Well - I did live in Canada for a decade and I can tell you it is a superior system. Your instinct will be to tell me about your friend's cousin's neighbor's doctor's uncle said Canadians hate their health care system - but that is not true. Of the 36 countries with better health care systems than ours all of them are socialized. Can you at least admit the HMO industry may be spreading lies to protect profits?

Sure it makes it more "affordable", but the quality will go down with the reduction in quality of physicians. You ever heard of incentive? why would someone want to work 80 hour weeks for 1/3 the pay?
