I agree that it wasnt the best movie in the world, it was more of a treat for the people who liked the comic book, or the creator (Jamie Hewlett). You have to love the animation parts, and the music lol. I just hope this movie gets re-done to be in a better veiw then what was given, and NOT let any hollywood director phuck it up, and leave it the Mr. Hewlett lol

Before you say anything, I love everything NC and AVGN, but I have a single doubt. In the mashable awards promotion on the top of the website, the people at channel awesome say to vote only for AVGN because Internet killed Television SHOULD NOT be winning. Why is that? Personally, I feel NCs reviews have gone REALLY downhill since probably the Garbage Pail Kids review. Since then it's been really hit and miss. Some have been alright, like the one he did with the AVGN, and some have been absolutely dreadful, like the new versus old videos. In the past few it's kind of settled into a steady, not funny but not offensively unfunny state. I'm not sure what he could do to improve except maybe not to try too hard?

I agree with you on New vs. Old, but I would bear two things in mind:

1. The Critic has been around so long now and done so much good that people's expectations are perhaps unduly high

2. In the end, satire can only be as funny as the thing it's making fun of. Perhaps the problem has not been with his jokes but with his choice of films. Both Casper and Judge Dredd are films he sort of likes and hence he can't tear into them in the same way as the god-awful GPK.

1. While this may be true to an extend but I wouldn't think it unreasonable to hold his newer videos to the same standard as his older ones.

2. I do agree that he does choose poor films to mock. Last Action Hero springs to mind (though I do feel as though he may have been pressured into that one). However, sometimes enjoying a movie can make for better fun than one he has a biased dislike for.
