I agree with you partially, but I must say that men are naturally stronger than women, for no reason other than hormones in their bodies. Although, not all men are naturally stronger than all women. And yes we are encourages to do aerobics while men are pointed towards the weight room. Women and men workout differently (on average) only enhancing that difference in strength.

If we were to all push ourselves to our true ability in the gym, there would be more of an overlap strength wise between both genders.
