  • well right now it's a 32 GPS satellites as of 2011

  • There are 31 GPS satellites as of 2009. Three satellites are enough, but a forth one off set any timing error. In Europe, up to five satellites are used. It works by measuring the time it take for the radio waves to reach the receiver relative to the satellites' position. The difference will determine the relative position on Earth. The GPS processor will differentiate interference due to atmospheric and/or structural disruption.

  • And GPS was made for kiling Russian tanks.

  • Really cool video

  • I'm a college student doing a report on GPS. I was wondering if you could email me a copy of this video for my presentation.
