Only an EFP would get you a K-kill. I have only heard of 1 or 2 marines or soldiers surviving. Even a small EFP punches through armor

I would assume sometimes you dont get to. Do you notice any long term effects after these engagements? .223 is such a high pitched round i would imagine it wouldnt do you any favors

ya my ears have been fked for a while now. the m4 is loud enough to cause some damage if you repeatedly go without ear protection. plus I operated the SAW for a while.

most have ear protection strapped to their Kevlar so it's pretty easy to put the plugs in once the shooting starts if you want..
