Actually i dont really understand myself. Why the hell i m enjoying these kind of weird voices so much??? This is just the simple modifications of the same pattern, but i can listen these variations for days:)
Ahh agree with tylervanbach and the comment of owlwink just make me scream. I heared of this before that one of the reasons that the TB was so present in electronic music is that they where just extreamly cheap - unbelivebil today!
but,its just a demo of some of the sounds of this amazing machine.
Luke Vibert is great, dont get me wrong. But this video is not a "song" its just a looping pattern to show the possibilties of sound that can be created.thats what its aim is
its actually ONE of the best video's of the tb303.
There are videos of guys with 303's on youtube and they dont even know how to make a pattern,in one vid,for example,a guy switches on his 303,and just stares at it and says ; "i dont even know what the hell im doin'" and starts pricking around with it.
yeah they are VERY expensive. I was dead broke for months before and after I bought mine, but hell, it was worth it! when you hear the real thing squelch oooohoohoooh! they're gonna be making tube amps till the end of time, get this NOW before the circulating models become too battered going from owner to owner.
oh and if anyone out there just started production and is thinking of blowing cash on plugins, think it over. get real machines! plugins SUCK, they make everyone sound the same!
These things were such a failure when they first came out that dozens of them were thrown in dumpsters outside music stores in LA. Street kids picked them up and the rest is history. This is good to remember when bashing new gear.
True... they were a total flop.. designed and marketed to accompany guitars as a bass emulator.. they were a flop and loads of dance music pioneers picked them up for basically nothing
i need to get myself one of these

They are insanely expensive. I'd rather get an emulator and a tube guitar amp for the price of an original
