Clooney was just verbally over compensating and smug about his win and when you think about it all the big awards, Golden Globe and Oscar awards seem sort of phallic in appearance so his overrated acting compensates for lack of other areas. Liked his comment about Fassbender though. Fassbender was pretty much robbed though.
