dude, nice job!! I know this vid is old, but I'm about to paint my G96-and looking around...now you can just make a scope lense screen out of cut-up soda straws, and your ready to rock...also, put your paint in a sink full of warm water first before painting-it increases pressure in the can/paint liquidity and the paint also drys faster. nice job!

I have a problem, i painted my l96 after i sanded it with 120 grit for the texture, but the paint still feels tacky after 3 days of drying, and after i played a game with it, all the paint started to come off, not flake, but you can scrape it off easily, what am i doing wrong here?

with what youre doing, why bother using the leaf? youre not getting any distinguishable pattern by spraying the leaf that far from the gun, so why not just randomly spray and stripe? It would be easier and exactly the same -.-

Another tip, don't use black. ever. ever... ever. it does not occur in nature, and it will stand out to the human eye. just use khaki, woody looking green, and some brown, nothing else. Less is more.
