  • All I have to say is you have GIANT NUTS!!!!! :) You did a great job of staying on. Hope your neck doesnt hurt and so glad you wore a helmet!

  • @cfrye41977 , I was ok...it's the guy who borrowed my helmet who was sore. I have the chaps on ...

  • my horse has been bucking like this and im at such a loss of what to do. Its only when hes in the canter. He gave my friend a concusion and has ruined my confidence in riding him

  • haha loved it! really nice job. some people just dont get it but some horses need the "get to the point and bite the bullet" type of training. I like how you do it.

  • very good riding, could learn a lot from you. Thank god my young horse doesnt buck like that!

  • Awesome, awesome rider.

  • What a madam! Well sat as they say, you'd win a bronc class like that!

  • where is your Rogues buster videos? I wanted to show my son those:)

  • I watched it a couple more times. I've ridden out some bucks in my day but you topped the cake on that one. I don't know how I've missed this video in the past but I sure enjoyed it today. Thanks for the reply. Jen

  • Paul, did you "tap" this baby a couple of times first? A good HARD tap? Did this horse ever get the message after you left? The other two in the video didn't look like they had a clue of how or what to do with this horse. Very intimidated by this baby. I would be too!!! As usual, you were great. Jen

  • Hi Jen, these guys tried to start the horse a few times but she did them in and really did a job on their confidence. There wasn't much I could do for the horse in one visit but I did manage to show the guys she wasn't a deadloss and to keep at it.

  • What's the song in this vid?

  • Devil went down to Georgia..

  • and ofcourse..thank you.

  • did you ever find out how the filly went after you left? she make it?...your aussie rite? just came back from oz and decided to have a go at trackwork and pretrainers over there, if thats where u learnt to ride i can see why you stick- i forget how many times i got floored, still makes english racehorses seem pretty easy!

  • Wonderful, just PERFECT!

Loving this list of "endospink" videos.

    Hehehehe!

    Just SUPER! :~)

  • cthere was so many things wrong with that first of have u ever thought about giving the horse time and not forcing and whats up with the bit u should never "teach" a horse 2 ride with a bit all u did was ride the buck out of it (for now) that horse is going 2 have problems down the road

  • Sorry, but your not old enough to comment or understand what's going on here.

For starters, it's a racehorse and it's regulation to use bits and secondly, there is no "down the road" for this horse, it was dog meat if there was no progress. Come back in 10 years and I'll think about explaining it for you.

  • Sir, your response to that nonsense just made my day. Ha! ;)

  • 2:36-:40

"let me show you how it's done

    -fall-"

    xDD

You have like a lot of courage -highfive-

  • wow u stay on good, i wouldve fallen off so hard!

  • heheh im such a chicken, i could never do that! well actually i did it once on a threeyearold largepony, my friend was supposed to be leading me, and the pony reared and took off, needless to say we were dumb and just put a halter on with no leadrope.. heheh but your amazing with them! do you live in japan?

  • I got scared when I was watching this video. I fell down a few months ago durind horse riding. My horse got frightened of horn. I had to stop riding for a while becasue of my health. I am beginner and I hope that some day I won't be afraid next fall because I really love horse riding and horses:)

  • my horse was like that when she was first broken, its hard work to make them relise whats going on. all i did was just sit in the saddle. hold on and let her get it outta er system... she's great now

  • Wow, You're Such An Amazing Rider And Horseman! That Was Wicked! *****

  • All I can say is WOW! Love what you do and how you do it! You look so natural that the horses. Would love to have the oppotunity to learn more from you. As for Coby's comment...seen horses' spirits broke before, and this horse's still looks to be in one piece. Wish morons would keep to them selves when they have no idea what they are talkin about!

  • whats the song?

  • Devil went down to Georgia..

  • Holy crap... steady hands anyone? Equitation counts..!

  • Call me a puritan if you will, but that vid. is as it sometimes is. You (me) do NOT want feet in stirrups at that stage!

A text book backing I'd say. And even better, a text-book sticking-on too! I thought I had an arse of velcro, but by God (or someone/thing) you have THE one!! lol

leggedup? (2weeks ago) ...... isn't that the way it should be done?

  • I like breaking bareback.

  • aww id never hav the guts to get on that quick

  • again i say i wish i could ride like you! you make it look soooo easy! i lost all my confidense with a pretty bad fall a lil over 10 years ago and gradually getting it back.

  • you should join the rodeo!!!

  • That was incredible- how do you stick when she PULLED you forward-amazing- have you ever fallen off???? I had to watch the video several times because I did not think that was you eatin dirt!! I have to know- do you think about coming off when they are doing that WILD thing!?? Or do you just know you are gonna ride it out!!! YOU ARE #1 in my book- I would like to see PAT do that bareback!! (or with a saddle...lol...)

  • I had to let her head go and hang on with my legs otherwise she would have pulled me forward. It wasn't me that came off and I try not to think about it when I ride..too much negative energy will bring you un-done..

  • Giter Done Endo! ;)

  • ow... do u think ur still able to produce progeny?

  • Endo's the man....the Eric Clapton of the bareback pad....The Black Superman of gravity defiance and inertia resistance...the Muhammad Ali of "and makes it look easy".

  • Always to your usual standard :)

  • PMSL. Does japanese dirt taste different to aussie dirt?

  • Ask the guy that tasted it...lol

  • so great! i love your videos paul x

  • good job!!

u just keep trying no matter what!!

    that colt is so cute

  • good job way to push a horse to far to fast scare the shit out of it and force submission i guess if you want to break a horses spirit in 30 minutes this is how u do it. nice!!!

  • Please read the notes before commenting. There was not time. Also, ask the guy that came off about the broken spirit. Actually, tell us what a broken spirit is ?

  • Uh, this horse had one shot to get broke or get eaten - before you comment, you ought to try to get a little background and know what you're talking about. This isn't some kid's pony in someone's backyard, it's a racehorse in Japan who has a distinct possibility of being someone's dinner if someone didn't "break his spirit" pretty quick. (And I'd say 30 mins was pretty quick - good job, Paul.)

  • Hey Coby best you stick with your dog and fish,

Endospink is The best rider I have seen to this day...

Do you ride??? Do you have horses?

didn't see anything about horses on your site..

  • coby4201, are you always such an ass? i'd just LOOOVE to see you ride like that, if you even ride.

  • My mouth hit the floor when i read about you video. it say Colt startining in under 30mins. but then i thought well you got off easy your not starting from the ground up. but this is just a video and i have no idea who you are, i will watch your other videos and im sure that will tell me more about, you thanx for the video

  • Finally, a method of training that appreciates people who can stick like a barnacle, which is the only thing I know I do damn well. Haha great job. Shame you don't do lessons :-(

  • Barnacle butt...lol

  • Haha yup. Had to be to ride my girl, she bucks like a pro and no saddle will fit her, lol. Definitely taught me how to stick.

  • HAHAHAAA iegen schuld dikke beult !!!

  • Was she wearing blinkers the first time you rode her?

And.. no stirrups. An impressive job made even more impressive by the fact that there are no stirrups. Awesome job!

  • The boss just watched this vid, his exact words were (god he sit's on pretty good, it's like he's just welded there or something). Just between you and me i think he might have been impressed....

  • Moriah from myspace checking out the vid clips on youtube. really great stuff.

  • That one really wanted to wake you up Paul lol. Turned itself inside out for you! Great video as usual. Keep em coming......it gives me a valid excuse to forget the housework lol

  • OK, so that wasn't you that took the spill! I thought you were joking (as usual!) I'm supposed to be working, but I had to watch the video over and over until I identified the toss-ee. Looks like the young man who was initially in the stable with you. Kudos to you and those velcro chaps that adhere to everything! (Just kidding -- we all know that it's just good riding).

  • I just recently got turned onto your methods and it reminds me of a trainwreck. You aren't sure what's going on sometimes, you're hoping everyone is okay, but you just have to watch! I applaud you and what you're doing. I'm sick to death of the western worlds "Natural Horsemanship" asshats so it's refreshing to see a new take on the problems us humans have given to these creatures.

  • I love how you get the job done, with the problems. You did a good job. I like your training method for the racehorses. Yes, everyone has say it and you do see it come, but heck, it do not stop me from saying it :)

  • Thanks, but it was a mistake putting the other guy on. She was ok until she got that one victory which is a little lesson for everyone, you can wreck a young horse with one screw up. It was a catch 22 though because that guy had to ride her the next day so ofcorse you would want to see if he was gonna be ok on her..

  • Endo.......after recently joining to view your video clips, I am truly amazed. Your balance and co-ordination with these young oclts and fillies is amazing. You are truly an awesome rider........my hat's off to you. Keep up the great video clips, I soooooooo look forward to seeing more of you.

    Ghostie in WI

  • Slippery little devil, wasn't she! Nice video as usual. Except she sure needed more than a half hour with ya...or did you forget your magic wand at home that day???

  • Sticky-butt indeed. Can't tell you how much I have enjoyed your videos. I really appreciate you answering folks questions.

  • I'm amazed- - Once again. Super work.

  • That guy in the blue jeans got a good "dirt nap",,,,,,happy Endo has "sticky buns" LOL

  • yeahh harrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • You are awesome! Deff have a gift

  • I LOVE watching you work!

  • Dude.......mad MAD props to your skill there. If I would have done that on a bareback pad, I would definitely be eating dirt and some teeth I'm sure.

  • you are crazy man, lmao you got some guts.

  • so few training vids that are real and not set-ups, love this vid! A question about the kick at you. When the colt kicked at your back and then he fell to the ground cause he had no support feet under him. Does that kind of fast-instant-fall stop a colt from trying kicking again?

Sunlei, a thousand questions from Texas.

  • hi Sunlei, she wasn't trying to kick, she tried to evade by lunging forward but didn't have the control of her front legs so she fell, the angle she fell sent her back leg out which looked like a kick..

  • Thanks Paul! It happened so fast, hit the ground and popped right back up in a split second. Excellent choice of music for this little horse.

  • I like it where the song says, "the devil bowed his head....." at that very time the horse was resistant and bowing his head and you were in and out of bronc dance with him :-) Excellent job, I agree you don't want to be hanging up and dealing with sturrups when your breaking out a colt or starting a difficult one. I'm not worthy, LOL.... Awesome job with that horse!

  • As usual you are my freakin' hero nintENDO

  • Kewl Dude.... go Endsooooooo gogogo

  • Endo you are totally incredible!! I've been riding for years, but if I tried to ride through those bucks with only a bareback pad I'd end up in the dirt!

  • Endo, Ur like the 'Continental Suit' song, cowboy. 'This sure enough bronc buster in a continental suit!' Heeee, heeee! COOL! That's YOU all right! :~)

  • Perfect choice of music! Are you planning on going back to work with this one more?

  • nope, this was a one hit wonder....

  • yeah, but the voice comes back after about an hour..

  • girls-- can we not forget about balance?!! we know tht man isnt human!!heehee

  • Do you start all your horses in a bareback pad before the saddle?

  • Mostly. When the goin gets tough, the tough doesn't wanna be duckin and weavin like a boxer to avoid the stirrups flying around his head..

  • hahah thats soo true.. nice work!! u sure u werent a bronc rider in ur previous life???? seriously damnnn..

  • All in the thighs!

Bloody hell, I had to say that! LOL

  • Spoken like a good Dressage rider! :~)

    Ahhhaaahhaaaa! TRUE!

  • totally true! i can tell when i'm riding well because my thighs are burning by the time i get off. lol

  • Oh, YES! My Dressage instructor makes my thighs SCREAM! Bless her HEART! I haven't come off one (KNOCK WOOD!) since I started with her.... Leg, leg, LEG! :~)

"What's the matter, did you break your leg over the weekend? I don't see any left leg today!" Ahhahahhaaa!

  • Trot poles without irons!

That's her meanest trick yet! :~)

  • Dang you're an amazing rider. I wish I had your seat! I fall off at the drop of a hat LOL.

  • JEEZ! that was full on! hows the guy who fell off? looked pretty painful. how the hell do you stay on? (its velcro ye? lol) once again BRAVO!!!!!

  • Endo gets a leg up!? Inconceivable! (;

    Nice one.

  • Brilliant video. Well done again. Just curious why you didn't persist with the Tap?

  • The job was done..The horse had completely forgotten about the bucking it was trying when I first tried to jump on before doing the tap..I'll post it later..

  • Now I'm really looking forward to seeing that :) well done anyway.

  • The horse's teeth were not done either and going any further the way she was throwing her head would've cut her mouth up, so basically..

"You gotta know when to hold em, Know when to fold em" (hey, that should be a song)

  • Well that just shows what a bunch of..... no, better not say what I'd like to. First rule of riding in my book: check for soundness! Teeth, back, feet, legs, girth there should be a test for horse riders and trainers especially.

  • wow...that was scary and fantastic at the same time....:O

  • I have a pink bareback pad...not as striking as your pants but still a nice shade of pink. I originally bought it for the Appy filly I had a while back but now I use it with my Arab gelding! And he looks quite nice in it actually...better than my Appy did...go fig...LOL!

  • He sure is a handful! Are you going to continue working with him? Great song choice for the video...LOL!

  • Nope, this was one hit wonder. The other 2 crash dummies can take it from here..

  • Just a question I've been wondering for weeks Endo : why don't you ever use stirrups ?

Are they too risky in case the foot stays in after a bad fall or is it just a preference ?

  • Bit of both, I like bareback plus if I have to step off, I want to step off clean and lightning fast. If I get into the RTTH I will do it in a bareback pad, I never had those things when I learning to ride but they look cool, they even come in pink..lol

  • Sorry if my question sounds stupid but what do you mean with RTTH ?

    (Eric, a french fan)

  • I'm going to name him "Buckie". The owners need to send a helicoper to pick you up, save driving time :) Thanks for posting your adventures!

  • **clap,,clap,,,clap** That was great,,,real horse, real problems, real trainer,,,gotta love that.

  • Wow! I bow!

  • No.....strange video....what doing with such a seemingly small and young horse ?

  • These are TB's for racing, they all start this young.

  • YEEHAW, ENDO!

    Way to 'COWBOY UP!'

    Ahhhahahhaaaaa!

    Snorty colt!

    That was very entertaining.

And kiddies in cyberspace... No RIDERS OR HORSES were harmed in the filming of this video! (Correct, Endo?)

    :~)

  • They all lived happily ever after..

  • LOL. About 2:20 in ... who was that getting dumped? LOL. He needs some Endo-Velcro!

  • He is the guy that is supposed to take over from where I left off..

  • ok, so wht was the outcome? the prob ws fairly obvious, well, to me. feel bad for these young kids(horses). by the way, after tht one, u might be speaking even Higher!hahhaha

  • who was that who took a tumble?

    great video

    naughty colt :P

  • damn you are GOOD!!!!

some serious attitude with that horse!
