It would have been nice if Nokia had intergrated a multi-touch track pad, and a touch screen. Its unfortunate that this Netbook is limited to hardware upgrades, Do to its low powered Atom Prossesor this machine is not RAM upgradeable and I wish Nokia would have offerd an option of ssd vs. hhd. Dispite all this this device is a solid build and appealing but still dose not convince me because of its big <500 Dollar price tag.
A MacBook can't compete with this Booklet because a MacBook isn't a netbook. This has a much smaller footprint by comparison. Not to mention a downgraded hardware specs.
Agreed, the only think you can compare about the Booklet to a Macbook would be the aluminum body. They aren't in the same category, unless computer is the category you are referring to.

i think its good. 12 hrs battery life thats long, i bet the battery is large. so its quite good for a small laptop. i mite buy 1 myself.

Its not because of the Atom processor that the RAM is not upgradable. The reason has poor performance is its extremely slow hard disk of 4200rmp.
But you are right, i'll be waiting to see the specs of their next attempt before I buy a Booklet.

no, it doesn't come with a simcard but the 3g module is unlocked.
of course you have to pay for the internet when you are using a 3g card in there
