So did TRON actually contact Alan? This movie was so much more interesting than TRON LEGACY. Yea the CG was shitty compared to the newer one but their seems to be alot more storyline and depth to the original.

Tron: Legacy was everything i coulda asked for. can't wait to get Legacy and see all the bonus stuff....provided it's not all on the Blu-Ray copy and not the regular, i'll be soo pissed. Legacy was a race against the clock with Sam trying to save himself and his father. Tron was a battle for freedom...kinda like Star Wars with Tron as Luke taking down the Death Star (the MCP here) with one small hit.

Computer animation was used in several scenes but any live-action shots were combined with hand-drawn animation. The Light Cycle Chase is an example. Many Disney animators refused to work on this film because they were worried that computers would put them out of business.
