um, that's dumb. remake was better than original... at least looking at this. i can see reason why the son should die (since he invited the girls back and all), but he didn't want anything to happen to the girls and he helped the parents get what was coming to the rest. not to mention, the horrible things they did to both girls, especially, Mari and as graphic as the remake shows it, you WANT to see the most horrible things happen to these people. i mean, the way they died was great and deserved

@Johnlindsey289 I respect this Original LHOTL because it was very revolutionary during the gruesome Vietnam time period, and the low-budgety effects of it are exactly what make it seem that much more realistic. Hostel and Saw and the remake of this movie are all just over-the-top with special effects and I can't take them seriously. This story was representative of the sick crimes that really do happen in America, they happen more than people would like to believe!!

he cant help it, his father controls him completely, he addicted him to heroin as a kid, and slowly altered his subconscious until he did whatever he said instinctively. (at least thats what i put together, in the opening they say "krug addicted his son to drugs when he was young so he could control his life)
