this radio-version is different to the album version on "Schubert Dip". The single release was quite successful - EMF took the song into the top 20 of the US-charts.
Whenever my girl does me wrong, the first thing I do is play with some cockroaches and maggots, then I fall backwards into mud. Does the trick every time.
the version of the video is the one found in the single vinyl, the one in the cd, is founded too in the single vinyl but the name is lies [where's axl?]
@ThereIsARain Pfft! And you want to be a rock star? You're also only 19, which means you have a long ways to go. Also, people have a right to voice their opinion so no need for disrespect, troll.
This music video sounds different from the album release. Did they have a single of this song with multiple versions of it or rerelease the song on another album?
i am a EMF fan , one of the first cds i ever bought , these guys are the shit and dont get the credit they deserve. talented guys with a techno/rock sound early 90s . if emf came out today it would be a smash. thanks for the post
I wish I could agree with you on that, but people hear this stuff when they're riding in my car and are like, "Who the hell are these panzys" or something. That's usually when I stop and tell them to get out of my car. Unbelievable was used in a commercial for a car I think, but people are far too judgemental these days and if they see this video, they'd probably think EMF has problems. It's on my MySpace profile and it's STAYING THERE! That's just the feedback I get though, long live EMF!
Well, not to mention I grew up where country music is rampant, alongside R&B. Moreso the latter more than ever as of the last decade. It's kind of hard to find someone that's into these guys down there. The first time I saw this video, I was 6 years old and in a hotel room watching MTV with my brother and my step brother. The whole playing the bass in the mud thing kept it in my head for some reason. Anyway, nice chattin' with ya.
Akward video. Playing with roaches, swimming in mud. It gives off an erie feeling, but I still love the video. Then again, I've never swam around in mud before, less play a string instrument in mud. It's weird to the populace, but they didn't have the internet back then.
I read somewhere that one of the members of this band died a few years ago. Well to be honest, you can see it in their faces that some of them were destined to die young. LOL
Does anyone know where I can find this mix? The album version is stripped down without the baqcking opera-esque vocals. This version is WAY more involved.
The poor quality of you tube doesn't do the video justice. The mud scenes in higher resolution have some great texture and lighting.
I think this song could have been much more awesome with better production.
