Seriously people? Bring your polotics to a blog or twitter or something. This video was made to comemorate the Marine Corporal Jason L. Dunham recieving the Medal of Honor after giving his life for his 2 fellow Marines. To read about a political argument on a video like this makes me sick. Dont worry Cpl. Dunham even though your in the sky's I cant still see you in the stars.
we as americans should look inside our hearts and minds for the truth.our nation right now is in grave danger.the U.S.A. is being taken apart before our very eyes.infact our country has been fooled for years by the brain washing through our education system at all levels.now look at this mess.lets join together as a nation to stop this group of anti-americans.so that brave men like cpl jason dunham would not have died in vain please......God bless America
Somehow I feel it so much more right when Bush gave out a Medal of Honor versus when Obama did. Just sounded so much more right with a southern accent.
@phantomloita It's because Bush actually shows emotion and gives a shit. When obama reads a citation it's like listening to some dude who's forced to read some lame ass story to a 1st grade class. I watched the ceremony of him presenting the family of Monti the Medal Of Honor and it actually pissed me off. It seemed like he didn't give two shits and that it was actually an inconvenience for him that day like he had something better to do.
@lull31 cause your a redneck racist! DId you watch the video when the agent told bush that the second plane hit the tower! HE DID NOT MOVE! Considering he definitley had better things to do after that moment, no EMOTION AT ALL, no he just sat there and listened to some bullshit bedtime stories. Of course THE PRESIDENT has better things to do. He doesn't send young men to die, we the people do! By supporting what congress tells us is the truth. We are to blame for ALL the soldiers killed.
@phantomloita hey dumbass, a redneck is a motherfucker who gets a ton of sun and gets burned on his neck! Not an American. HAHAHAHA your welcome dumbass!!
OORAH Marine thanks for you service and you will never be forgotten, your outstanding service and unparalleled sacrifice above and beyond the call of duty is an inspiration to us all semper fi from a fellow Marine.
Medal of Honor is rarely given out. They are given to those who have done more that what they are asked to do. Most who have received the Medal of Honor died, but never in vain, and only few live to receive it. These soldiers are angels that god sent to protect us, now they return to his side to fight another day.
What you just said really offends me, as well as countless others. Think about how much our armed forces have sacrificed for us, and think about what you're saying.
I am the son of a veteran, and the brother of 2. id be a serviceman, myself however my health wont allow it. so i serve them stateside. i support them however, and wherever possible.
Ill close by saying " stand down marine, your duty on earth is done. you are servin teh lord now. ill PERSONALLY thank you when i get there" Semper fi
Jason Dunham was a very good fucking soldier I had one chance to fight by his side in iraq and was there when he decided to save me and my fellow comrades life i fucking wish i could've meet him he was a good soldier!!!!
i thought you said that u fought by his side?, but at the end of your comment it says, and i quote "i fucking wish i could've met him" now if you were one of the two people he saved the lives of when he jumped onto the grenade im sure you would of met him befor.
thank you jason, you have gave the greatest gift anyone could have sacrificed...your life.
Marines know eachother as Marines. The Army know's eachother as Soldiers. Among Marines especially the difference is no secret. jordanmets? You're no Marine and you're no soldier. Your choice of words particularly in your 2nd sentence is only used by a few journalists and writers. Real warriors never say crap like that... You owe apologies to everyone who was really there POSER
So your saying the firefighter's that risked there lifes in september the 11th aren't heroes? There are many heroes out there today for various reason's. That was a foolish comment, think before you speak next time.
The word hero is tossed arond too much today. The only heroes that exist today are fighting over in Iraq (and soldiers who died and fought in previous wars).
God bless you Cpl. Jason L. Dunham. You really showed what it means to be a marine, you translated "Semper Fidelis" into reality, showing what it means to always be faithful. R.I.P.
Semper Fi, Dunham... I wish there were more Americans like you. You have courage and a devotion to duty that is characteristic only of Marines. ooRAH!
I remember as a child being in the elevator of the Army and Navy Club in Washington with my step-father more than 25 years ago. An elderly gentleman in a suit was in the elevator. When he got off on his floor, my step-father asked me if I had seen a very tiny pin in his suit lapel. I had but did not know what it was. He said that that was a man who had been awarded the CMH. WOW! RIP, Corporal Dunham...and God bless you...

jordanmets smells like POSER, someone who doesn't mind using the memory of a true hero to advance his loser fantasy life.
I agree with 19iceman19, it sounds very inconsistent that they wouldn't have been in the same unit.
