Medal of Honor is rarely given out. They are given to those who have done more that what they are asked to do. Most who have received the Medal of Honor died, but never in vain, and only few live to receive it. These soldiers are angels that god sent to protect us, now they return to his side to fight another day.

I remember as a child being in the elevator of the Army and Navy Club in Washington with my step-father more than 25 years ago. An elderly gentleman in a suit was in the elevator. When he got off on his floor, my step-father asked me if I had seen a very tiny pin in his suit lapel. I had but did not know what it was. He said that that was a man who had been awarded the CMH.
