I was looking for exercises to help the pain in my trapezius muscle. When I saw the video I went to the door to test it. As I was coming out of the "roll" I fainted, landed on the tile floor and will have a life-long facial scar because of the damage. I thought this might be a fluke but my son said he had the same experience. Please warn people that this is a possible problem!
what the hell, ive looked through like 20 of these types of videos and cant find one that works, i never feel the stretching feeling when i do them no matter how far i do it , am i too flexible or what?
@acidwaste00 you get flexible by continuously working/stretching your muscles, the more you work them, the more flexible you will become, you need to train your body to relax.... dont try something once or twice and call it quits. for real
@EatLibertyCaps huh??? i do try to stretch but i never feel the feeling that my back is stretching, it just feels normal, no matter how far i do this stretch.
@acidwaste00 when doin this exercise, try to raise /lower your shoulder to different angles, various angles stretch different parts of the muscles. dont make dramatic movements or you may pull something though.
I have fought back pain for the majority of my life, spending thousands of dollars on physical therapy, chiropractors, and pain medicines.
Recently I have found by far the best, most economical help ever. Going through this simple routine every morning has changed my life drastically for the better.
@keyboardclass stretching them should actually help relax them a bit and enough stretching or massage would be able to get them back to their original positioning.. which is thrown off by the slouching, causing pain and further postural distortions
damn by back is killing me and i believe is the rhomboid major i should try this exercise.. or then i have no other choice than to go to a doctor.. since the pain is constant for the past 3 years..\\ damn you hot chick xxxx
STUPID QUESTION TIME: Can someone tell me how to turn off the subtitles? I can't figure out how I turned them on in the first place, but I have them ... now.
Wow! I would eat broken glass if she told me to. Seriously though, thank you for the instruction. I had a trapped nerve in my neck recently and needed this. My "Chiro" recommended it, and a few other stretches.
this is a great stretch!

Why would stretching cause you to faint? Are you saying it compresses an artery or vein?

@rpestelle Typically when you restrict your arteries that give blood to your brain..you don't get any blood to your brain. Common sense!

@XxMoonlitKissxX only if strengthening is included in the regime. The vast majority suffer from weak rhomboids - that leads to problems.

This is the the only stretch that worked for me in relieving the pain.

Stretching is the last thing you want to be doing to the rhomboids. They get plenty of that from sloping shoulders.
