i am not sure if the story they tell in 'the pink floyd story: which one was pink?' is true, that Barrett was put on the backburner after they brought in Gilmour to help influence their music... but the story is a sad one, and while none of us fully understand the true emotions behind their making this song, it was for a friend and it is indeed disgraced by this video.

Get one thing clear, the Patriots didn't "get rid of" Vinatieri. They offerd him the largest deal ever for a kicker. He just chose to go to Indy because he knew his career was near the end and he wanted to kick indoors.

Because since the Pats have had him they either have been FAR ahead of the other team or have not been able to get in a position for a clutch 3 points. But still Adam is definatley the best kicker ever and will be the first in the hall of fame. But just the same Gostkowski has become bettter than Adam is today Gostkowski even made the 08-09 All-Pro Team, and the AFC's kicker in the 09 Pro-Bowl. I still miss Adam though for what he did for the team he will be forever missed.
