Just need to keep practising your feet muscles... The way I did was by using heel up and hitting the bass drums quite hard and distincively.

i agree with some of that. it does seem to slow your single foot down, if you start out with it. i've been going almost 3 years with a single kick. im getting a double tomorrow. i dont think it will slow my foot down much... it's vary necessary in some instances, like hard music and this song is made for a double bass..s.

Well I think because her toms don't have enough resonance because she has pinstripes and moongel. The mics need a bit more resonance to pick up a good sound. Jackie try takeing off the moongels and mic a song. Or Evans EC2 tom heads are really good because they take off just enough ring. But remember its her choice this is my opinion. Great cover.
