  • Two things...

    1. That guy's accent is fricken awesome!

    2. Why is that chick in a bikini?

  • Im 16 and im bout to get a car nd i was thinking of a honda civic Si coupe nd i was wondering if 1. Is it fast. 2. Is tourque steer a problem? If so how bad is it.

    thank you,

  • @0SpyderScope couldnt help you with the torque question, but the speed question. most of the cars in that category arent like ferraris, but they are a like bit more "peppy" than typical sedans.

  • @0SpyderScope This car is quick enough for a new driver. You will have no complaints, and nobody is expecting a 16 year old to take on a real performance car. It is light, and the engine gets the job done, exceptionally well. Torque steer is noticeable because it is a light FWD car with more than enough power, but any good driver can handle it well. Best of luck!

  • @0SpyderScope I don't think the torque steer would be a problem, to be honest. It's not turbo charged like the MazdaSpeed3.

  • Cool civic Si! =)

  • i have this car in blue.. i wouldnt trade it in for ANYTHING.. deff the best car ive ever had.. and fast as fuck.. :)

  • The Chevy Turbocharged Cobalt is faster, much faster.

  • @porbonostar a turboed civic si is faster than cobalt ss way way faster. faster than you can imagine....

  • @porbonostar the si turbo charged are way faster then the cobalt my friend has 1 and i have the turbo he go smoked

  • @porbonostar Perhaps..but with the Chevy, it will be in the shop for repairs much much more than the more solid Civic Si.

So while the piece of shit chevy is in the shop, Civic si owners will still be on the street enjoying their ride...lol

  • dont get why people hate on this car... its a nice commuter car that has loads of after market upgrades for those who do choose to want to get more power.

  • im a nissan and toyota guy ... but im not a fan ! and I like honda too! Si and Rsx! lov it! my gf has a Si 09 red like this! and i enjoy hitting vtec on it ! just like my XRS lift :D so fun!

  • i like how ppl still call this a ricer when its completely STOCK

  • @sanohoang yea ricers would be a 1999 civic with its mufflers removed and turbo'd not this car i like it and want it

  • @sanohoang

cuz they dont know whats good and great!

  • i wont have enough money for an si until the next gen... hopefully some of the stuff found on the cr-z will be used in it...(dash color-change, led tailights, hid's) im hoping honda goes down that road all across their line-up

  • i think they should replace 2.0 with 1.8 and 1.8 with 1.4-1.5

  • absolute beauty for a eco price car :O

  • 22,000 for civic si what a rip ill take my 22,000 and buy a 2011 mustang or 2010 camaro

  • @AdamWestable

yeah if you want a pussy v6 in your muscle car

  • Moon roof?

  • tc + xb > si

  • anyone else think the dude in the suit has no idea what he's talkin bout? 1:04 is a perfect example lmfao...

  • @wrenchmonkey22 I don't know what kind of 4 cylinder car he drives, but I know mine uses all 4 cylinders, haha.

  • i wanna take that ricer spoiler off.

  • I love my Si. It's 350 Watts not 270.

  • this car is seriously making me hot and bothered. lmao!

  • I hate the weight of this car. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't using a detuned engine that was conceived 10 years ago. So anyone who bought an RSX Type S pretty much should've bought something else. (That car was a mistake anyway.) My guess is that the next gen SI probably won't see a better power to weight ratio.

I do like the car's styling. It is the most attractive style between the Hondas/Acuras that were on the Civic chassis from 01 to the present. Civic > RSX in style.

  • I <3 my FA5

  • True that brotha, keep on preaching

  • Damn they suck it's all about WRX power baby #1

  • Your talkin about a whole other class WRX STI is not a 4 cylinder and theyre all wheel drive and come with turbochargers. Your an idiot for comparing that car to the SI

  • wrx sti's have a flat 4 so ya they are 4 cylinders

  • Wow! Let's do some research before we post next time, huh? You're not bored, you're obviously an idiot.

  • @ObviouslyBoredKid a wrx sti is a 4 cylinder. its a horizontally opposed 4 cylinder with a turbocharger. but you are right, it is another class because it turbocharged and allwheel drive.

  • man that looks rubbish if compared to the european type r

  • @westy19801 european type r sucks, doesn't even have independent rear suspension. the spoiler goes right through the back window so you can't see anything. the only thing i like about the euro type r is that its a hot hatch, but driving wise the si is wayy better.

  • you learned all that from top gear. didnt you?

  • wooow dont even try to compare the si to the tc, the tc is a piece of shit soo yea si ftw! imma get mine in a couple of weeks :)

  • @JDMkid471 i bought mine on saturday!! picking it up tomorrow!!

  • vtec: very torquey economy car,not torqueless

  • this or the scion tc? im getting my first car pretty soon, so im choosing between these two...any suggestions? also if i get the tc i will be getting the manual

  • i,ve just bought a civic type R[ in the uk ] and just got rid of my ST because had too many problems with it. and out of all the cars i test drove the HONDA had the most SOUL yes the MAZDA was faster in a straight line and the golf was smoother but non put a smile on my face like the honda civic type r[ SI same engine ] go get the honda because if not you,ll regret it.

  • Get the Civic. If your into performance and everyhting get the Honda the Scions are slower and less fun to drive

  • not even a question.... si hands down.

  • Idk man. I haven't raced one before. But i think i can take it.

  • get a civic si,it would blow one of those scion tc out of the ground cause the k20s in them and the dohc vtec

  • Idk man. I haven't raced one before. But i think i can take it.

  • get the si its very sturdy and smooth ride easy to handle

  • tc's are fun.... but si's are funner

  • I wont never buy a civic or any honda at that. Dont wanna have to worry about my car being stolen every min.

    WRX OWNER

  • My 2001 integra type R just got stolen last night and that why I am looking at civic SI videos :(

  • no one asked u about that...and im pretty sure the 2009 civic si is just as hard to steal as the wrx....lojack for the win? dont make retarded comments.

  • @JAYFROMHARLEM

I think a [smart] car thief would pick a WRX over an Si...

  • @regardie99 Not the car thief's in my area... They love honda's

  • This is one of the few remaining Honda models that I find interesting. I care nothing for the Element, their Truck and I am not really excited by the Fit. Accord is expensive and full size now.

If you are into Honda you should check this SI out. Rival to the GTI, the Civic SI is a Honda "sporty" model. You will have to REV IT LIKE CRAZY to attack. That is the style of Honda attack... to REV it hard. Dislike some of the interior style. Learn to drive stick.

    The GTI attacks with torque.

  • VTEC: virtually torqueless economy car

  • Test drove the Si the other day, it is definitely one of my favorite cars!

  • Honda Civic SO? Typeo. Nice video by the ways guys.
