I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation. Making a 6 kW generator will cost $1200, value of the energy produced yearly $5400, zero operating costs. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents.
Why is coal referred to as a renewable energy source? I suppose technically its renewable because wherever the right conditions occur, organic matter would eventually become coal. Yet, since the process takes thousands of years, is it really "renewable" for human purposes?
Market economies require exponential growth in energy consumption 90% of which is consumed by the markets themselves. We must replace market economies with steady-state economies that can easily run on renewables other than nuclear. My analysis of the problem is completely contained in "On the Conservation-within-Capitalism Scenario, which google.
actually, the average lifespan of a single nuclear power plant is 30-35 years before it needs to be decommissioned. get your facts straight before you say something. COCK!!!
He's talking about potential energy output of known uranium deposits. And in that sense he's right. However we shouldn't rely solely on yet another energy source that is known to be unsafe (safer now) until we have a way of dealing with the nucular (I love that way of spelling it lol) waste. diversified market of renewable and green energies will lead to competitive energy markets and clean air for our Grandkids to breath. This is our chance to be a paradigm shifting generation.

Nuclear power isn't renewable, but will last thousands of years - in opposition to coal or oil...
And if we will manage to build nuclear fusion plant there will be many more thousands of years with cheap energy :-)

do you even comprehend a difference between fission and fusion?
I'll not sign with my first name.
