2 stroke = top end and lighter 4 stroke = bottom end and heavier. its pretty fucking simple

2 strokes are lighter but they don't rev as high as the newer 4 strokes. A 250 2 stroke will only turn about 9,000rpm. A 250 4 stroke race bike will turn 11,000 to 13,000rpm.
