Anyone know if one of his poems/rhymes ? It has the line 'Musclebound for stardom the apollo of your eye, can't seem to get an hardon oh christ i wonder why, the bronze adonis gutter. Is the last line the title?????
enter the dragon, exit johnny clarke!!! the mans a genius, a word that is thrown about too easily these days...... all ages should appreciate JCC, a complete one-off...
Martin Newell took his bands demo up to an AR guy in the early seventies. They brought along the wrong tape. It had The Beatles "Sgt Pepper" album on it!!!
The tears are rolling down my face, and I've a broarder smile than I've had for a long time. I've always loved Martin and JCC separately. John looking just the same as when I used to see him in the late 70's. Me, I look 30 years older.
JCC is the best poet on the globe, check out a similar Australian genre (not copy) Allan Dumbleton. Let me know what you think.
