i can't believe iv never tried this. I never got into ut2k3 and 2k4 online much, mostly played it casually with bots or instagib at LAN's.

You press the alt fire as fast as you let go of the fire button, then you wont take any damage from the shieldgun. I have noticed that it only works on the newest trial servers though.

Thats not cheating, and thats nuts!! The jumps you can't make are probably the running dodge jump

(hold forward, dodge and spin to face the direction you want to be aiming at, and jump, which is just like forward forward jump but gives you slightly more disdance on a level plane, height differance kills it though)

and shield jumping, which I do believe I need to learn better because its freaking hard

You have less gravity than normal. A lot of obstacles can't be performed with double jump.

he can't perform this if there is no walls - the part with the platforms: I tried to get from one platform to another by using the double jump like he did in this video but I failed cause the distance is far too long and the jump can be performed only by dodging.

There is not Cheat or gravity changes here. And the jump you are talking about can be done. You just need more skills. Alot of people think double jump is simple you just press the jump key 2 times as fast as you can. but thats very wrong to do a perfect double jump you need to jump and then wait the right amount of time before you jump again. Keep trying and Im sure you will make it.

I think the most frustrating part of this entire temple -- which isn't even remotely hard to do once you know the way -- is that damn DENIED room. I was able to do it all the way up to that, then just became overly frustrated and didn't bother finishing. (And opening the editor is cheating :)

i think the hardest part is during the last objective, the jump to the 4th statue at the beginning of pbj. 6. its the longest jump in that hall and you have to hit the right spot when jumping or you fall. I fuck it up sooo often xD

Of course it has been edited to some extent as the player changes after some of the tombs. We actually did this run in 7 segments, instead of 6 (1 for each tomb), because the jump just before the edit at 6:17 was pretty much impossible and took great precision.

We thought we were better off having 1 extra edit to make it a run as close to flawless as we could make it.
