Just keep it up, heck if you want I can give you some online lessons if you'd be willing. I love giving guitar lessons and it always makes my day to see young talent eager for learning. And, I do use those fingers, it's just convinient to use my index and ring for most of this song. The frets are perfectly placed for me to do that kind of thing up until about the 10 or 12th one.
