  • I really wish she had crossed the street when she saw him. This poor child!

  • What is wrong with our species?

  • @TheAmazingUploader Well, that's what Stockholm is, she doesnt know she has Stockholm, she can't realize. It's not an act of cowardliness or even denial.

  • @TheAmazingUploader That's a discusting thing to say about someone's traumatic experience.

  • RO EL QUE ACABA DE EDITAR Y ESCRIBIR ES MUY RECOMENDABLE

  • Did she get pregnant during her captivity time? And how did she get abortion?

  • @Francesko263 No, he did not rape her. He used to like to lay next to her and fasten her to him during the night.

  • @rudyprotrudy08 I believe you but it's quite strange.

  • @Francesko263 Well the full case is very strange. If you are interested in this you should read her book. It gives a real insight into the mind of a child having to grow up in a dungeon. There's no wonder she never tried to escape when he took her out. He assured her he would kill her family immediately and also anyone she tried to talk to. She never wanted to put anyone at risk and was too frightened. She felt like she didn't really have a place in the outside world anymore.

  • @rudyprotrudy08 He admitted he raped her.

  • @ParkLeeNa How could he admit it if he comited suicide as soon as he knew she was missing

  • @sophia1996100 Wow you really WANT to believe in this weird love story where he didnt rape her, just cuddled her, and I guess you also think he was a good guy in the end. How despicable of you.

  • @ParkLeeNa Did I say he didn't rape her? No. I said he never ADMITED to raping her, he wasn't alive to.

  • @sophia1996100 Dude stop talking about rape.. it's weird..

  • @ParkLeeNa Fuck you. Free country.

  • @sophia1996100 Rape again I guess? You really love this. Keep going weirdo.

  • @ParkLeeNa Dude chillax, I was only commenting on your original comment, get a fucking life you stupid twat.

  • @sophia1996100 Wow. Please keep on insulting me, makes you look better.

  • did they make their case a film yet?

  • Italiano??

  • I've just finished her book "3,096 days". Not only great insight to the mind of a child and later a young woman who fought so hard to keep her identity and sanity, but also the twisted mind of a mentally-ill person. Read the book and you'll realize she is amazing. Unforgettable.

  • Her book "3096 Tage" is just breath taking!

  • I really recommend her book, I'm almost done it but its amazing. It's called "3,096 DAYS"

  • Shes beautiful :)

  • she us the meaning of the saying - NEVER GIVE UP

  • Being "Austrian" has nothing to do with it. Don't, for a second think that this does not happen all over the world, you just don't hear about it.

  • what is it with these fucked up austrian men and holding girls captive? these dicks need to be locked up themselves.

  • @karlsmith00

sais an american producing over 90 % of all serial killers and psychopaths on this planet? Get it together! Assholes exist everywhere!

  • @kleenerlollie oh i see. you conducted a scientific study and determined this? 90%?

like there are no chinese serial killers. no russian serial killers. no mexican serial killers. of course every country has crazy men. i just noted that this was the second case of an austrian pig doing this. for such a country, that's a bit strange. and you have to admit, austria has produced some big name crazy men before. want me to name names?

  • what an amazing young women!!

  • Now this is a hero.

  • i read her book, it's an amazing story and she's a very admirable human being

  • Her mom is the one at 6:03 right??

  • God never leave her..now its for the whole world to learn..!!!

  • she could've died in the cellar if that kidnapper died and no one would knew =\

im glad she survive through the 8 years of torture

  • It's a shame that humans learn to ignore their instincts. Most of the other animals go with what they are feeling.

  • @xtremixt1 You must have been living under a rock, as it doesnt take a rocket scientest to know that there are good and bad in every race.It does not matter what colour or nationality you are, we are all human.

  • @xtremixt1 BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAA YOU FAIL

Blacks are agressive as hell xDDD

    Failers

How can you call people lower than animals? everyone is as low as eachother.

If you call other people sick and lie and all, you are sick yourself

  • @xtremixt1 Classic YouTube comment. Classic.

  • 0:10 "hello fucker" LMAO

  • @raven66614 i dont get it?

  • i started crying when she talked about her impulse to cross the street, and, her decision not to. wow...just a fraction of a second, a split decision, and her fate was changed... it's beyond heartbreaking...

  • Is her family still alive the poor girl I feel so sorry 4 her

There r weird mental retarded ppl out ther n I hope no I wish they rot in HELL!!!!!!!!!

    S.I.T (Suffer. In. Toture)

  • there are lots of strange thingsin that case. First of all the curious empathy that the girl recognise having with her captor. Also the fact that he want to earn Prikopil´s house and car and to contact his mother...

  • Her curious empathy for her captor is called Stockholm syndrome.

  • @mosaicglass

    Not really.

In Stockhom Syndrome you think that the kidnapper caes more then the police.

That was never the case here.

Actually, you are probaly confused that she had a "routine" for her daily life in prison and did not waste years to simply get over the shock of being caught.

And that she does not see the evil in him, as she knew he was weak.

Actually she says she knew she would survie and he would suffer in the end.

Does not look like she cares for him to me.

  • Stockholm syndrome is not the perception that the captor cares more than the police. It is a transformation over time by the captive who depends on everything from the abductor. They transform from terror and resistence to (forced) acceptance and care for their abductor as a means of survival. She said she did care about him. Worried about how fragile he was. That is sympathy for her abductor. Did she admire him? No.But she did become close to him. (finally saw youre reply here : )

  • I´ve got one question !

    Did she liked it ?

  • @karbanatek99

Can I put you in my garage for, say 10 years?

    Would you like me?

    Silly quastion.

  • @schusterlehrling

He was going with her out, or not ?

    Maybe I mistook cases.

  • @karbanatek99

Yes, the last 2 years he even took her out in public, but he had threatened to kill anyone that she spoke to and never let her more than a few inches in front of him so that he could see her.

  • @karbanatek99 he kill him self after she scape

  • she looks so... normal for a person thats been abused badly for 8 years

  • So how can she been abused ?

  • she never said that the man raped her!

  • @MrZayda

let's not discuss this on the internet.

she is thje victim and she should be allowed to talk about as much of her story as she wants.

Or to remain silent on the issues she does not want to discuss.

  • I'm interested in this case. What did she lie about?

  • its understood that she was kidnapped etc however it is strange that she wants the house of her kidnapper and she sympathises with him..

  • it is called compensation, and it was her own strength and compassion which enabled her to survive, gain his trust and then escape. She is remarkable to still be sane. How can any of us understand her ?

  • ya she is an amazing lady :)

  • @izyscott I ve actually thought about what would i do if i were in her situation after i read her book, the answer is I know it clearly that I cant be as tough as her,she s a wonderful life- saver of herself, I cant imagine how she did it.so when i was wandering around with my shirt going out ,she was in such pain,I hope her life after this will be everything the best.

  • Yeah, there are a lot of strange things going on with that case... She actually lied a lot...

  • It is called The Stockholm syndrom.

I have never ever been through something even kind of like that, in any way, and everyone can see she is a true SURVIVOR.

  • But, my step mother is a sociopath and alcoholic. I lived with her and my dad for two years when I was only 14-16 years old. And finally my mother and my doctor found out what was going on at my fathers house (my stepmother would put me through mental terror) and they removed me permantly from their house (THANK GOD), but even a half year after that I kind of missed my dad and step mom and felt sympathy for them.

  • Now I see clearly and understand what kidn of horrible, nasty and evil things they did to me. I see the evil in them and I know now that I was a victim. I do not believe their lies.

They were your dominator, so they were your hole world. And I was and NATASCHA (my name is also natascha which is kind of funny) was a good person, and good persons often tend to believe that even evil people have a good side to you.

I know it sounds insane, but after a while you come out of that state of mind.

  • there is a difference in a rape or an assault that lasts for a short time and is over, and the only place and person you have known for 8 years.

  • stockholm syndrom.

  • He raped her for several years over, eventually you just accept the life you have and look for the positives in any scenario to try pull thru

Eventually it becomes normality, if its the only person you see in 24yrs you depend on that person (whilst typing this reply and watching this video shes basically saying that if he died she would be stuck there, she didnt want to loose control)

He ruined her life but to her its been her life day in day out so normality for 24yrs

  • It's called stockholm syndrome.

  • Dnagerous terretory your on there with that comment.

Rape is still rape, I canot immagine some one held beyong their will enjoying anything about it.

However after several years of captivity I dare not say she accepted him as a partner (Like a bf) but enjoying it? No it wouldnt say so,, I think she may have seen it as a chore to be fair as she described she had to have sex in order to get rewards of basic life comforts we all take for granted

  • I feel so sorry for her, what she been trough. But still we can never have any clue what she is struggling with inside herself ever day even after all this is over. What she been thinking all this years and what she experienced, nobody can never know that reall felt.

  • Has anyone ever investigated whether or not these two frieks crossed paths?

  • OH..MY..GOD..how horrific. she was just a baby, poor child, i cant even imagine.

  • Absolutely fascinating. I just read the book and it helps explain a bit how she was able to mentally cope with her ordeal. This is an extraordinarily strong young woman with unique capabilities. I don't know how anyone could come out of that situation and still be sane. I hope the rest of Natascha's life is filled with happiness to try and make up for those years that no one should ever had had to live through.

  • I agree with everything you said. This poor woman deserves a life in the real world and no one should EVER abuse her.Ever.

  • Thanks for posting this.
